Cougarheart crept along the path that he took to a small clearing, with grass and trees circling. He would surely find something here, since the weather was good for hunting, and the sun glimmered through the canopy overhead. Cougarheart unsheathed his claws and narrowed his eyes, seeing the pelt of a mouse move quickly, as the mouse that it had belonged to was eagerly scratching at a cob nut. His tail stiffened and he bent his knees in a hunter's crouch, tail and belly hovering over the ground. He narrowed his eyes in focus, and leaped at the mouse, crushing it with his claws

Feralsong wobbled out of camp, her stomach large.

Cougarheart continued on his hunt, digging up a hole, molding out dirt with his paws, scooping it into the air as it piled behind the newly formed hole. He gently placed his mouse inside, and covered it back up, patting it down. (*a few minutes later*)
Cougarheart picked up his two sparrows and mouse, heading to the camp with his head held high. He spotted Feralsong and nuzzled her, dropping the larger of the two sparrows as his mate's paws

Feralsong returned the nuzzle affectionately before purring, "Thanks!" She picked up the sparrow and suggested, "Shall we bring these back to camp? You can share this one with me if you'd like."

Cougarheart smiled and nodded, "sure you can, but if you are hungry you may have it all. I already ate thisbmorning, so I'm good for now."

Feralsong nodded and padded to camp.

Creektalon rolled around.

Moonkit came out of the nursery. "When am I going to be an apprentice!?"
