Theo laid on her bed quietly. She closed her eyes and thought she could hear Beanie breathing. Every now and then, if she really focused, she could hear the auction house. She heard Beanies' foot click and winced.

Theo sat up slowly on her bed and watched Beanie. She squinted and saw her reading something. She grinned and waited to see Beanie's reaction. The last slave that resided in the palace was under her brothers rein and he absolutely hated humans to the point where he'd actually chop parts of them off. It discusted Theo that he was so sadistic. The last slave died by his hand.
