Show Name: The Queen Of Exiles
Barn Name: Leanansidhe [ Lea ]
Age: 5 Years
Gender: Mare
Color: Strawberry Roan
Breed: American Warmblood
Personality: Lea is a stubborn and determined horse. She is a quick learner though she doesn't always take well to strangers and it may take a while for her to trust you. Lea does have quite the trickster side, some may say it's a bit twisted. Lea likes to trick those around her and it can be quite hard to catch her. She is a flirt and full of energy, sometimes it seems as though she can run for hours on end. Lea is outgoing and can never be seen being quiet, she is always around other horses. Lea is very confident and not at all self conscious. She uses her power of persuasion to get what she wants when she wants it. Lea likes to know whats going on all the time but she never gossip. She likes music and creativity a lot, she is always caught listening to music or drawing with her hoof in the ground. Lea also likes big and glossy things, which suits her personality down to the ground. Leanansidhe seems to love to spoil and pamper herself which is why we named her after Leanansidhe of the faery folk.
Extra(s): Leanansidhe is named after Leanansidhe of the faery folk, just to say that, for short call her Lea. Leanansidhe is the Queen of Exiles, a self-proclaimed title, the Dark Muse, and a muse of music and art. She was supposedly banished by Titania after becoming too popular and threatening her rank as Summer Queen.
Now story time!!: Lea was born at a stable in Dublin, Ireland. The stable was run by a family, the Flinnegans to be exact. The Flinnegans were a big family, native to Dublin, they were hardworkers but were modest. They raised and bred horses to work the fields or for the show circuits. They had about five daughters and two sons. One of those daughters decided to be more of a trainer at the stables, they called her Genivieve. Genivieve got her first horse before she was ten, it was a riding pony named Jasper. Though, she loved Jasper, he never presented much of a challenge to Genivieve. She wanted a mare, of course, one with spark, one who challenged her. When Lea was born, everybody knew the pairing of Lea's parents would create a frisky foal and not many wanted to try and train the trickster of a foal, but out of excitement Genivieve claimed the foal with a passion. Now, to this day Genivieve and Lea have been winning ribbons all over Ireland.
