Spiritstar wailed over the dead body of her mother as she lay frozen in the snow. Tears filled her eyes and wet her face, making Blackdawn's pelt wet. She collapsed to the ground, and touched her nose her Blackdawn's muzzle, "don't leave me..." she pleaded
