He heard her throw it and got an idea, going over to the window again.

Tii covered her ears and sat in the corner.

He twirled one hand. "Roll over."

He tapped on the glass to get her attention, scared to speak.

He hesitated slightly but prepared to turn over.

The second he hesitated he had a knife out and in his shoulder. Todge fell over with a yelp.

She looked up and crawled over, trying to ignore the recording.

He held up the empty canteen then started banging it on the glass, forming cracks.

He walked over and kicked him. "Never hesitate. Now apologize to your master for it."

He pulled the knife out, wincing, then grabbed it by the blade, stood up, and handed it to Slasher. "Sorry, sir."

Tii did the same.

He gave it one more smash and it shattered.
