Hearing an odd sound and seeing the rear end of a horse outside Scout's stall, Kathrine moved to peer outside of the stall and found a horse was unattended and reaching into the stall next to Scout's(King Junior). "Hey!" Without hesitation, the blonde girl stepped out of her horse's stall and moved toward the big horse, "Get out of there. Who's taking care of you?" She threw her hands up to move the horse back so she could grab ahold of him and found out where he needed to be. Okami whined behind her, warning her, and Scout nearly busted the door, his ears pinned slightly as he snorted. Kathrine glanced back and waved him to stop and calm down. She knew he was worried about her, but she couldn't worry about that right now. She needed to secure this horse first before he causes any big trouble. She wondered who owned this horse and why they'd let him come in here alone.

To say the stallion was nervous would be an understatement. Compared to the horse, Kathrine was very small and the ratio in height made Scout twinge with worry. He snorted, whining lightly to Kathrine, who just waved him off. "I don't like this. I don't like this one bit." Okami looked up at the painted horse, "Maybe it won't be so bad. If it gets really bad, I'll break my leash and step in." Scout nodded, but the nervousness remained. He promised himself that he would jump the stall door if need be to protect her. He'd fight off anything that tried to harm her even if it was bigger than him.

Junior instantly stepped back, ears lightly pinned, he then relaxed and lipped the girls shirt softly and then struck the ground briefly, teasing the other male, warning him to back off. He swished his long fluffy tail andnuzzled the girl, he truly had no intentions of being a pest, he just got free. He swished his tail again. He shook out hs mane, whickered gently and then stepped back slowly walking outside, but as he did he stopped when the girl must have stepped on his rope or something or perhaps it got caught, because he felt the pressure on his head so he simply stood there looking back at the girl curious to what she was going to do now.

Elle siged with relief as the girl showed her there was nothing to fear. Elle ever so lightly nickered, just loud enough for the girl to hear, as she closed her eyes. Her hands running through her tangled mane put her into a dream like trance, running back to the days when her mother use to groom her pelt, her mothers gentle touch, reassuring Elle.
Elle allowed the girl to clip the lead rope to her halter, her back right leg cocking, as if she were standing on her toe like a human.
Drifting off ever so lightly, she fought to stay awake, but something inside her told her she could fall into the tempting sleep she was longing for.

Crystal smiled gently when the mare began to nod off. "Not yet, girl... let's get you some fresh air first and out of this stuffy stall," she cooed softly. She clipped the lead rope gently onto the halter, she continued to pet the mare, running her fingers gently over the tuft of mane around her ears, not bothering with more extensive tangles as to not hurt her. She then gently moved backward to coax the mare to follow her. "Come on girl... I've got a place I think you would prefer to nod off in that's more spacious," she murmured gently, moving a bit away each time to coax the mare to follow her out of the stall and then out of the stable. Thankfully the mare was at the end of the stables.

Elle opend her eyes, the generous girl walking backwards with the rope in her hand. Elle didn't understand what she wanted at first, why was she walking like that. Curiously Elle followed her, one hoof stepping in front of the other, her head snapping up high, snorting as she follows the girl. Elle walked, hooves stepping high in front of the other. Walking out of the stall, her eyes large with fear.

Crystal shh'd the mare gently, coaxing her with her voice and once more gently running her fingers in a soothing manner through the mare's mane. She didn't want her frightened and she knew she wouldn't be able to leave the mare's side if she decided to fall asleep in the stall. So, she was going to take her to an open pasture. Slowly Crystal led the horse out of the stables. No one was really around the ranch. Most of them had gone to the stables to see their horses so the two were practically alone and away from the stable commotion now. "That's a girl... good girl. Just follow me," she murmured soothingly, gently placing her hands on either side of the mare's head gently to act like blinders while still using one hand to caress her mane. She knew horses could be easily spooked and read that they were more at ease when focusing directly ahead of them and not with the wide range of vision they had so long as nothing came from the side and honestly, Crystal wasn't expecting anything or anyone to do such a thing. Sometimes, it helped that Crystal was such a bookworm.

Emilee frowned when no one acknowledged her announcement. Typical, I'm just as invisible as I was at home, and I'm practically in charge, she thought sourly to herself. She shook her head and moved towards her gelding's stall, though she got distracted by some tack that so,done didn't put away after they were done using it. She sighed and picked it up and went to put it in the tack room. She came back out and began walking towards Theo's stall, though she saw kathrine with another horse and figured she may need some help, so she made her way over.

Theo snorted softly and watched quietly. He gave the mare a reassuring nudge. He heard footsteps and turned towards them seeing Emilee coming and moved towards the stall door, though she walked right past. He snorted and turned back towards Elle, and leaned on the window..

"Whoa, easy boy." Kathrine lifted her hands in a non threating way to sooth the horses frightened state. He calmed down quicker than she though he would, yet she felt a tension between her and Scout, something she wasn't sure if she liked. She watched the horse lip at her short before turning to leave. Before he could though, she trapped the lead rope attached to his halter and stopped him. As he looked back at her, she reached down and picked up the rope, "Where you going? And who owns you, boy? They shouldn't have let you wander off on your own." The blonde girl glanced around, but she still didn't see anyone coming for the stallion. A nicker echoed from Scout's direction and she turned to shush him, only to find he was alerting her that she was being approached.

It was the owner's niece whom she'd met when she got here. Of course, Kathrine's blank expression returned along with her emotionless voice as she spoke, "Hi. Have you any idea whose horse this is?" She motioned towards the black and white horse beside her. Now that she thought about it, she could also ask about getting a different cabin too while she was talking to her.

He pinned his ears at the stallion when he teased him, glaring at him while snorting. He watched the horse very carefully with Okami, watching what he did and making sure he didn't try to harm, Kathrine. When he heard foot steps coming their way, he glanced over and found someone was coming towards his girl. He nickered softly towards her and got her attention and once she turned to talk to the girl, Scout locked his gaze on the stallion whose lead rope she held in her hands now. He didn't trust him at all just like he didn't rust any of the other horses here.
