Lilacpaw jumps out from the apprentice den and stretches out her limbs, she calmly strides over to the fresh-kill pile and grabs a small bird, which she thought was a finch. She lays it on the ground and jabs her ivories into it, tearing out flesh.

Blazetail goes over to see Lilacpaw "After we get something to eat we're going to go down to the training grounds" Blazetail says "Would you like to invite one of the Apprentices and their mentor to join us?" the ginger and white she-cat asks while taking a vole from the fresh kill pile

Snowheart saw Lilacpaw eating and ran over to her, and took the prey away. "Nuh uh uh, Lilacpaw, you can't eat before hunting for the elders." She looks at Blazetail "unless permission is given"
