Patients Form
Fay dyed her hair rainbow because she loves colours, especially the rainbow. Besides that, she'll also get manic if someone refuses to let her dye her hair.
Name :Fay Eleonora Lockhart
Gender : Female
Age : 16
Type of Patient : Mania, Psychosis
Why you are here : Fay gets into irrational rages sometimes when her emotions get too much for her to control. She will suddenly break into a violent fit or a crying fit, doing things like bashing her head against the wall or making loud moaning sounds. She cannot hide her emotions and every one of them is magnified greatly, making her laugh uncontrollably at even the smallest thing and wail at even smaller things. She has ADHD though it's not exactly the reason why she's here, but it only worsens her manic states because she can't stop moving around. She also has an imaginary friend, Lily, whom she shares everything with and pours her heart out to. If anybody tries to tell her Lily isn't real, she'll lash out at them. Lily, however, seems to have a warped mind - she appears to make Fay do strange things which Fay obeys readily because Lily is her 'best friend'. Fay's behaviour is also exactly like a child's because she's delusional and thinks she is a five year-old child.
Personality : Fay's personality hardly shows anymore unless you care to look past her manic behaviour. She protects whoever she loves to the best she can, which sadly means she'll just lash out at whoever insults them even a bit. She'll try her best for all her loved ones, of which she has few - who would want to interact with an insane person, anyway? She's also a furious artist with an immense talent for sketching, which she still does in the asylum with paper she finds or sometimes on the walls and floor. She can get very protective over her paper drawings, stapling them into a 'sketchbook' and not letting anyone see them. When she draws, it's one of the only times she can stay still. Because of her past, she doesn't trust people once they start delving into her personal life.
History : Fay was once a happy child, enjoying high school with a close-knit couple of best friends. She was in the top class in school and was a member of the art club. Despite her eccentric personality and tendency to pay more attention to her art than her friends' conversations, she was lucky to have friends who adored her and accepted her for who she was - Katrina and Erin, her two best friends whom she still makes reference to sometimes in her troubled mental state. Though Fay was a highly intelligent girl, she knew her rue passion lay not with grades and academic subjects - but with art. She won many competitions for her drawings, highly commended for their excellent portrayal of expressions with just a pencil. Nearing the end of her freshman year, she got a scholarship inviting her to an art university - she would be guaranteed a place there when she came of age.
However, instead of praising her for her talent and supporting her, Fay's parents were livid at her lack of academic achievements despite being in the top class. Since she was young, they had been domineering but the situation had worsened since they had started to quarrel, with Fay's father being abusive and drunk on several occasions. Now that their marriage was strained, they took it out on their daughter.
They dismissed her firmly when she told them of the scholarship, saying they would never consent to that unless she topped the year that year for her end-of-year examinations. Highly resentful but having no choice, Fay forced herself to put her art aside and study for her examinations as rigorously as she could. When she got her results back and placed second with just two marks less than the top student, her parents angrily tore the letter for her scholarship apart and snatched her sketchbooks away, forcing her to study and grounding her in her room permanently until she could get the top place.
Filled with resentment and anger at her parents, Fay began to break down slowly inside. Her dream had been the scholarship ever since she had received it, and the pain of losing her dream made her insane. She threw all her books and study papers onto the ground, stamping on them and blaming academics for destroying her goal. She would slam her head repeatedly against the wall in fits of growing pain and anger, her emotions uncontrollable when she had no pencil and paper to draw out her feelings and stop them from overwhelming her. She also refused food, growing weaker and weaker each day.
At first, her parents thought she was only acting to get their attention and ignored her even when she cried herself hoarse. However, her mother unlocked the door of Fay's room one day to see her unconscious on the floor, a small but deep cut etched on the back of her palm. Apparently, she had used her hand as a canvas for drawing with a pair of scissors in her psychotic state and passed out because she was too weak from lack of nutrition. She was sent to the hospital and later the asylum, her condition only to worsen.
