"But JJ...we miss you. Mom and Dad are freaking out, and Lelani and I need you. You can't just leave us." Emily bit her Lip as she tried to get him to understand.

Sarah's eyes fluttered open. She heard JJ's voice and turned slightly so she could see him. Who was he talking to?

JJ sighed. "Em, we can't come back," he said.

"Well I don't see why not," Emily told him, slightly hurt that he'd left.

Sarah watched him for a moment before slowly pushing herself up to sit. She yawned and stretched her arms out in front of her.

JJ sighed. "What do you think they'll do to us if we come back? Em, just please," he begged. "Don't hate us."

"What do you mean? They wouldn't do anything because they love you," Emily told him. "I don't hate you. But do you really not know how much you mean to us?"

"We do! But we just... we can't," he said.

Emily sighed. "Are you ever coming back?"

He sighed, looking in at Sarah. "I don't know. We're going to be happy, wherever we end up."

Emily sighed quietly. "Well..." She couldn't really argue with that logic. "Will you at least keep in touch?"

Sarah looked over at him, a small smile touching her lips.

"Of course," he said. "And once we turn the ages we're faking we might tell you where we're at." He smiled at Sarah.
