"im not sure either ... i thought someone snuck in and attacked you ... turns out you instead just sprouted wings ... that darned dragon never said anything about this sort of thing." he growled lowly, looking toward the window again. He had half a mind to sue that crystal and start spouting out questions about all this, but now wasn't the best time because of Ashyn's new found pain.

Once he got lots of bandages, he went and got a cloth to clean off the wounds where the wings had sprouted from, occasionally getting smacked by them.
