Sunstar was hunting merrily, pouncing on a hare near the mountains, she froze, scenting two cats from Shadow clan. Following the scent to their camp, she held her head very low, watching them from the safety of the bushes. She listened to all that was said, thinking and feeling full of regret. The female cat was now outside Shardstars den, they were talking, but Sunstar had heard quite enough. With a rustle of the bush, Sunstar walked away quietly.
