Deep in the forest you find yourself lost with no hope of getting back to where you came from. The forest is too thick and everything looks the same, so you have no hope of trying to retrace your steps, let alone remember which way you even came from. Just as soon as all of your hope is lost, a fluffy she-cat appears out of what seems like nowhere. She pads up to you, looking you up and down to make sure you are no danger to herself. Once she figures you are harmless, she takes a step closer and says " Follow me if you want to live. " With a quick flick of her tail she motions for you to follow her. You hesitantly agree to follow, though you aren't sure where she is taking you exactly. After a quick journey through the rest of the forest, you all of a sudden come out into the clearing, a large mountain straight ahead. To the left of you is a lake, to the right, more of that lake. You question the cat as to how you are going to cross, but she cuts you off and just tells you to follow. You do as told, following her down the edge of the lake. Right when you start to think that this she-cat has gone mad, you see stones in the middle of the lake, leading to the other side of the mountain. The cat stops at the first stone, turns back to you, then calmly says " Come on then. They are sturdy I promise, you will not fall. " She begins jumping across the rocks, all the way to the other side. You size up the stones, then take a leap of faith, literally. The stone doesn't budge as you land on it, reassuring you that it actually is safe. You begin jumping to each stone after the other, eventually ending up at the other side. The cat nods to you kindly, as if she was congratulating you. She then began walking again, into the mountains standing right before you. You follow her, knowing there was no point in turning back now. Soon you come up to an entrance of what seems to be a camp, watching the she-cat walk in. Many cats come up to greet her, but they stare at you as you walk in, confused as to who you are. The she-cat that had guided you here jumps up onto a large rock hanging over what seems to be a den and all of the cats of the camp gather below him, you doing the same. She looks down into the crowd and begins to speak. " I am sorry for being gone for so long, but I seem to have come across a loner in need of a home. " Everycat stares at you, but then looks back to her. Sh goes on about hows he has received her nine lives and that she is now the new leader of the 'clan'. She jumps down from the rock after her spiel and pads over to you. She sits down and says " Now for a real introduction. Welcome, and my name is Ivystar, and you are standing in the camp home to a clan of cats called MountainClan. I am the leader of this very camp, our past leader having his last life taken by a mountain lion. You are now one of us, and you will soon learn our ways. Good luck, you may need it. " And with that, she walks away into her den, leaving you to wonder what just happened.

MountainClan is located, to no surprise, in the mountains. These mountains are neighbored by a lake, and just across that lake is a forest. One must jump across the stones in the lake if they wish to reach the tick forest. If you travel through this forest you will come out to a twoleg camp, which is completely off limits to the clan. MountainClan is a kind clan, letting even lost cats into the Clan. If you refer back to the introduction, 'you' were a loner and the leader welcomed you to call the Clan your home as well. Most of the cats are peaceful and respectful towards others, even other clans. There are those certain cats who don't follow the personality of the clan, but do not fret. They will not hurt you, or at least they shouldn't. In battle, most of the cats a fierce and brave, protecting their Clan from any danger that come their way. While hunting they are stealthy and fast, killing their prey with a quick bite. They are loyal and are proud to call themselves 'Warriors' of MountainClan.

MountainClan cats hunt chipmunks, rabbits, shrews, squirrels, voles, woodrats, and mice. They also hunt chickadees, juncoes, thrushes, wrens, and towhees, all birds. Some cats even go to the shore and catch fish. They may seem to have plenty of prey, but you must also take into consideration they predators. This includes bears, bobcats, cougars, raccoons, foxes, mountain lions, coyotes, hawks, owls, and falcons.

The camp is located in the middle of a the mountains, a few trees surrounding it to act as protection. The entrance to the camp is two trees that have bent over towards one another, making a semicircle. The Camp has six dens- not counting the small borrow under a tree where rogues are kept if they attack camp. That den is called the Prisoner's Den, and isn't often used. The first of the six main dens is the Leader's Den. The leader of the Clan sleeps in the den with her mate. In MountainClan's camp, the den is located within a hallowed out tree. The inside is very comfortable, moss being brought inside to rest on. The outside is covered with leaves and vines and the entrance is covered with moss so there's no draft. The second den is the Warriors' Den. The inside is big enough to accommodate all of the warriors, and is very warm. Next is the Apprentices' Den. It looks pretty much like the Warrior's Den on the inside. The only difference is the size. It is probably the biggest den of them all, other than the Nursery of course. The Nursery is located under the roots of a tree which have uprooted themselves from the ground. It is a little bigger than it looks, and is surrounded by some bushes for safety. Queens and kits sleep in there, with a guard outside if the kits are still very young. Next is the Medicine Den. The Medicine Den is made up of two rocks leaning together to form a entrance. Further inside is plenty of space for sick cats, as well as storage for medicine herbs. Finally, there's the Elders' Den. Elderly cats who are two old or weak to hunt and fight or have kits sleep there. It's two rocks that have grown towards each other, the inside being warm and dry. Right beside the Leader's Den is the Great Rock. The Great Rock is where the leader calls meetings. At the bottom of it is the kill pile, where all the food is put after hunting. In the corner of camp, between the Elder's Den and the Nursery, are some rocks to sunbathe on.

One;; All of Tess's Rules apply in this roleplay, as do mine of course. If i ever get a mini-mod, then you should listen to them as well. Please respect all other roleplayers and treat them as your would want to be treated. Give people recaps when they ask for one too, and try to include everyone!

Two;; No gary-sues or mary-sues, and also no godmodding or powerplaying. No dating or crushing on your own character, or being your own apprentice or mentor either. Fade to black when birthing or mating please, nobody wants to have this in detail. Also, there will be no cursing unless it is warriors cursing, like mousebrain or foxdung. Don't kill anyone else's cat unless you get permission first, and tell me if you get permission. Don't join and never return. In other words, be active! Try to keep the genders even too. If you make one tom and you want to make another character, then make a she-act. If you make three cats, then make sure you have a least one of the other gender. Both genders are fun to play, i promise!

Three;; I will appoint a mini-mod for when I am inactive. If you suddenly go without warning us, your cats are removed. If you come back and say you were grounded or have a good reason, only then will I let it slide. I really want this roleplay to actually stay active and not die out gain, because i just know it is going to be fun. But we can't have fun if it dies.

Four;; Please make your own forms. You may use mine as a reference, but don't just completely copy it. Try to add your own flare, and make it at least a little attractive, and not just normal font and black. Please include the name, age in moons, gender, rank, personality, history, crush, mate, and the most important, a picture! I want you to at least post one line. I do not want to see any three word posts. I will write more than one line most likely, but that is the bare minimum.

history;; ivystar was not always ivystar. she was born in mountainclan as ivykit, to her parents bramblefur and hollythorn. her two siblings, goldenkit and ashkit, never made it past one moon because they were born weaker than she. she doesn't particularly remember them and her parents kept it that was for a good reason. she became ivypaw when she was named as an apprentice, and after her mentor believed that she was ready to become a warrior, she went through the ceremony and gained the name ivyshine. she became the loyal deputy of mountainclan and would never betray her clan, as no warrior should. the previous leader of mountainclan was killed by a mountain lion when she tried to fight it off. ivyshine traveled to the moonpool and recieved her name ivystar, becoming leader of mountainclan.

history;; hawkfrost was born to a rogue cat who was housing on mountainclan territory. his original name was actually ace, but that changed when he was brought into the clan at the age of 5 moons. warriors of mountainclan ended up taking the young cat in after his mother was killed by his worthless father. since he was still quite young when he saw his mother be killed by his own father, he developed trust issues very quickly. however, being around the clan cats has helped him brighten up more. he found a mate within the clan, but she was killed by a fox. he did get two great kits though.
