The Rainy Sherpherd - a breed known for it's protective and nurturing attitude. These large, furry canines live on a minor planet named Spica, after an ear of wheat. The planet holds a terrain that is very much similar to what is found in scotland. Temperate highlands with rocky cliffs into the sea and lush green fields that slowly ascend into mountainous terrain. It rains frequently on Spica; the shepherd really enjoys this weather, thus their name.

Best Memory: He enjoys clearing his head and thinking of the nice salty smell of the ocean air and the smell of the rain around him. The feel of the fresh ocean air on his cheeks and the sand between his paws.

Rainy Day shepherd's Name: Mae
Gender: Female
Best Memory: Planting her first garden in her parents yard when she was young. When she was 2 years old they taught her how to plant and garden- knowledge she took to heart and never let slip away from her. This is her fondest memory because gardening is her favorite hobby, and the memory of her first experience reminds her of her parents who are no longer with her.

Rainy Day shepherd's Name: Christopher
Gender: Male
Best Memory: This shepherd often reminisces about his exploratons, some even recently. He mostly enjoyed the smell and pitter-patter of the rain around him as he walked through forests or exploring the hillside. He often visited with other shepherds, staying for just a while to chat.

Rainy Day shepherd's Name: Jonquil, goes by the nickname "Quil"
Gender: Best Memory: Jonquil, like most rainy shepherds, adores the rain. However, her best memory occurred on a rainless night...
On Spica, there is rarely a cloudless night. As a puppy, those bright sunny days always made Jonquil lethargic and slightly irritable, mostly because her fur is thick and she easily overheats. So her grandfather, a typically aloof and especially magnificent member of the species, told her a story in hopes of cheering her up. On the nights of no rain, he had told her, the sky sparkles. Jonquil wanted desperately to see the sky sparkling, and looked forward to nightfall all day. Of course, at dusk, her mother rounded up the whole litter of pups as usual. Jonquil begged to stay up and see the sparkling sky, but her mother had told her that her grandfather was exaggerating, just trying to get her hopes up. Jonquil pretended to believe her, but once her mother had gone to sleep with the pups, she left the den and went to see the night sky. Jonquil had, of course, seen stars before. But the young pup had never seen such a cloudless night, where every star seemed visible on the inky canvas of the sky. She looked up in awe, admiring the incredible sights before her - every twinkling star, every comet's streak, left her breathless and overwhelmed. To this day, Jonquil prefers to sleep through sunny days so she can stay up late watching the cloudless, brilliant night sky. But that first night when she discovered what the clouds concealed, the only memory she really retains of her grandfather, will always be her favorite memory.
