Niré turned to the colorful Musoka with a cheerful smile. Lucky! His instincts were right this time.
"Hyousuke, here's a delivery to you" Niré said, taking out the envelope from his scarf, scanning it once again to ensure it was the right one. Handing it over, he proceeded to take out a clipboard which contained details of the message.
"Not sure who the sender is, contains a set of keys and various other gifts...haven't paid yet. Sign here please, and don't forget to pay at the mail station" Niré handed the clipboard over along with a pen, expecting Hyousuke to sign that he had received the package. "Now that my jobs done, what's up with all the boxes outside your room?"

Hyosuke's eyes lit up, "My keys!" He said surprised and quite happy, ripping the envelope open to indeed, see his keys. "I'm glad someone found them." Scanning the small paper looking for a name, "Do you know who sent it?" Hyosuke looked up towards Niré. Noticing the Musoka was handing him the clip board he decided to sign under the dotted line. His ear perked when Niré mentioned the boxes, "Oh! I almost forgot about those." Hyosuke started to speak before heading back towards his room, "Those are spare parts! I've got a invention I want to try my paws at!"

"Invention?" Niré repeated softly before tucking the clipboard back into his scarf, "what are you making?"

Come to me a dark voice whispered, and Niré quickly shook his head roughly to rid of the darkness in his thoughts.
Stay away he hissed at it then quickly followed Hyousuke. Well, it was always better to have a friend in times of need...usually anyway.

Oooh he's coming. The keeper is coming. He's coming to get you the voice continued taunting him and he rolled his eyes in annoyance.
He's here to fix himself up. Don't be so illogical Niré growled at the voice then ignored the whines of protest from whatever dark being was trying to haunt him.

"Hey Hyou, what you're making, is it going to kill nightmares or something?" Niré asked as they reached the parrot musoka's room.

Hyuosuke nodded excitingly, "Yep! It's some cool invention I've been blue printing for awhile." He spoke while unlocking the door, the door slowly opened before Hyosuke pushed the box of spare parts into the room. Hyosuke's room was littered with burnt metal parts and wires all over the place, it seems the Musoka doesn't like cleaning up after himself. "Find a clean spot to sit and I'll explain the invention." He said happily as he pushed the box next to his desk and rushing over to a bookshelf to search for his blue prints. "Oh!" Hyosuke started to say as he turned around, "You can just call me Suke, it's sometimes easier for people to say." He shrugged before turning his attention back towards the books. It's around here somewhere, he muttered under his breath.

Niré grimaced at the mess before him. Being a messenger, he had always liked things neat and tidy but he had told himself that it was simply to make his life easier. He sat on a clean area, pulling his paws close to himself to avoid knocking down anything then looked at the bookshelf.

Nothing there the voice chuckled, but this time he agreed with it silently. Nope, definitely not there. In fact...

"Is it that blue thing in the box?" Niré asked, tilting his head towards the box slightly. Messenger instinct. He must have been finding too many things now. His eyes were taking in every little detail too quickly than he could process the information.

How do you like this power? the voice taunted but the messenger simply smirked.
What, my instinct? It's telling me you're going to be having a touch time getting me Niré taunted it in his mind then turned back to Hyousuke, hiding his inner fight with the strange dark being.

Hyosuke turned to the box before his ears perked up, "Yep! That's it, good eyes. I can't find half of the stuff in this room." Suke chuckled before bouncing over to the box and took the rolled up blue paper out of the box. "Alrighty, let's get to looking at this thing!" He spoke before putting the blue scroll on the floor. "See that metal gear right over there?" Hyosuke nudged the scroll open and held it down with his paws. "I could seriously use that thing." He looked around and found one gear, placing it over the top left side of the scroll.

Niré's eyes blurred once the mechanic got into action. He had never been good with reading blue prints and looking at how stuff fit together and stuff. So he simply watched without saying much other than pointing out once or twice about where things were located in the room.

If you were in the darkness, you wouldn't have to sit here waiting the voice taunted him.
Better than spending all day talking to myself he growled.

Hyosuke nodded after he finished explaining how the Invention would go together and help fight nightmares, "It's like a big fat flashlight." Hyosuke summed it up afterwards. "Only it doesn't just give off light, it gives off good dreams and wards away future demons and bad nightmares." He strugged as he rolled the blue scroll back up and placing it on his desk. "Now to see if I can actually get it working, that's my only problem." He looked over at Niré curiously, "I have a feeling you did not understand half of what I said huh?" Hyosuke chuckled heartfully. "No matter, as long as it gets working then it's all fine, thanks for the keys. I would've never gotten back into my motel room without them." He spoke as he jingled the keys on the key chain, "But one question." Hyosuke stated, "What's this key for?" He pointed out a rather curved black key with the tips painted in gold.

//Sorry for not posting sooner! Nighttime occurred over here on my side, and sleep was very much needed! And then school.

The door of the motel lobby opened soundlessly as Tobias leaned on it to enter the old building. The musoka inside instantly went silent as the soaking wet and angry Musoka pounded his was up to the receptionist. "Give me Hyosuke's room key. I'm late for an appointment with him."
The bellhop gulped nervously before turning about quickly and pulling a simple brass key off of the pegged wall behind him. With a timid whine, the male placed the key carefully down on the counter. Tobias snapped up the tiny thing in his teeth and growled a thank you that sounded a lot like a threat to the others in the room.

Still fuming about his soaked fur, he stomped up the steps with increased anger. Curse the rain, curse the Muso who controlled the rain and curse the god that made that idiot in charge of the rain. That dull-brain female only knew how to create downpours instead of the nice light drizzles he so preferred. Another growl made its way out from between clenched teeth as he reached Hyo's door. He thumped his head on the door, his tail to heavy to lift with water and joints rusted to the point that he couldn't prop his body up on a table if he wanted to.
I'm coming in Nire, Hyo. I'll get the door myself. The keeper projected into the room, sensing the messenger inside as well.



We've been talking to him now. The voice sneered, coming from a dark apparition that made it's form corporeal in Arcane's cell, giving her temporary control of her body. He's been resistant but.... Tiny jaws opened up in a sickening chuckle that made the dark females hackles rise up.
"You - leave him alone. He's off limits." Arcane growls low enough the guard can't hear her, smacking a paw onto the floor. They can't touch him. They're not allowed. It was part of the deal.
Oh, but it wasn't us who touched him with our darkness. The shadow weaves closer until it sits between her black and white paws. It was you who touched him, tempted him to the dark and took one of his orbs. Well, in a sense. We were possessing you heavily yes, but it was your touch that made him consider.
The weight of the dark voice's words hit Arcane hard, making her shrink back until she touched the wall, green eyes huge and pupils shrunk in terror. "Wha- I did such a thing? But no, he's...I couldn't- HE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT!" She howls, alerting the Guard just outside her cell.

Hyosuke was at the door prepared top open it before Tobias had barged in, quite surprised and a bit uneasy to see the musoka in a bad moon. "Hey there Tobias, come right in..." He spoke calmly before scooting his box of toys out of the way.
