The Axis Roleplay
Axis are average size creatures, their horns generally only reaching 6'0" the tops of their head being 5'0". They have extremely short fur, but appears almost skin like because it's so short. Along with their fur is long mains and tails, equally as soft as their body fur. All full grown Axis have solid black horns, the size and shape can vary. Axis have two slits for their noses and large gentle eyes. They do have mouths but they seem seamless, only when hunting and eating do they open their mouths. They have large teeth, being mainly carnivorous their teeth are all sharp and made for cutting in.
The Axis are mainly solitary creatures, but pick companions from different species or other Axis. They travel, hunt, and explore with these companions. The temperament and personality of each Axis is obviously different so they'll get along differently with one another and other species. These companions are different than an Axis's mate, they generally mate for life and find solitary together once mated. If breed and with their young they can be extremely deadly, especially mothers.

Axiem. The planet that has been in bodied by a viscous beast that protects it and is it's heart beat...
[About the Planet]
It's surface is a bleach white, the sky a pale green and has two moons. There are trees similar to our own, however they are black and can have crystal like growths on their branches -they act like icicle leaves. The deeper into the ground you dig the darker the soil gets, the rocks are also similar to the ground color, they have more of a brown and green coloring from time to time.
This planet has no water. It has a thermal like liquid that is extremely dangerous and the body part that touches it becomes dead as soon as it's touched. There are a few different kinds of water too, thermal and poisons, the poison can be cleaned to drinkable water -but it is nothing like water on Earth.
[Human Interaction]
Thousands of years into the future of planet Axiem. Human's found the planet, it took several months to get a milirary trained ground team on the surface that would survive the planet's night. They were constantly attacked and killed by whatever beasts inhabited the planet. It took years to get scientists on the ground to start learning about the things on this planet, still attacks happened though, humans had just learned how to handle them.
The Axis became a test subject, experiments and victims...

Axiem created the Axis as soon as human's made contact and they are what killed us, over and over again...Keeping their home safe.
There first sitings Axis were described as deer or dog like animals, with no eyes, slit noses and mouths, with deadly sharp teeth. They had large black horns and claws that took down humans in a heart beat. They were deathly thin and gangly looking beasts. Over the years it was reported that less and less of these deadly beasts were seen and more with eyes and calm natures were found.
[Over Time]
Axiem introduced himself to a female scientist and helped us gain an understanding of his planet and how things worked. We also gained the trust and loyalty of those Axis that would call us friends... Several years later we have a small civilization set up here and Axiem is still here helping us on his home and introducing those worthy of Axis to them.
Still there is unease here... Will these creatures stay peaceful with humans? Will they turn on humans because of their experiments?
