Saturn couldn't help but smile at Tempest's words, but he doesn't respond other than a brief tightening of the wing he had draped around her. Jupiter tilted his head slightly at the fae's words about wolf ranks. "I can understand your point, but things here are different. While skills are important, when we rank our wolves, it is a show of power." he said, curling his tail around his paws. Saturn refrained from rolling his eyes at his brother's words, and from making a comment about how he could change the way things were, considering he was the alpha.

Mercury looked back to Tempest at her innocent query and immediately felt his ears burn with embarrassment, dropping his nose toward his paws and murmuring a quiet, "N-no, it's nothing," although Venus was the one to smile and tell her, "Well, to ask to exchange jewelry of course! That's what the pairs do, after all, isn't it?"
Saturn sighed and tried to keep himself from telling his sister that she was being culturally ignorant. Instead, he turned his gaze unto Tempest's face and queried gently, "Walk with me?"

"But.. why?" she asks. "I've found the best Alphas are the ones who have respect for Omega's.. because they were once Omega's.
she tries to explain without causing tension. Gold-tipped ears flick with uncertainty at her own words - what if.... Tempest Brewing at Dawn swallows and chooses to change the subject. "What is a 'Jewelry'? And why do you exchange it?" she asks for clairification, tilting her head to the side hopefully. The she-wolf had been about to lay down - because she just cant get comfortable with the pups moving as much as they are - tail twitching when Castiel gets her attention, asking to go for a walk with her. Even though her paws and back are sore she nods exhuberantly - mostly because she needs a breath of air, to get her head on strait and is hopping to get a drink. "Sure.. lets go then. I'm sure that Venus could explain this 'jewelry' thing to me when we get back." a sweet smile at the other seven as she labors to her feet, gently shaking moss and dust from her pale pelt before awaiting Saturn to join her.

Saturn watched as a surprised expression crossed over Venus's face, knowing that she was shocked that Tempest didn't know what jewelry was, and she'd opened her mouth to answer the other fae, but closed it at the look Cass shot her. She remained silent only because Tempest had agreed to go walking with the golden wolf that she called family.
Cassiel rose to all four paws and shook his pelt out, before he moved to Tempest's side. "I'd suggest you all disperse before the faes get more agitated than they already are," he said to his family, although the words were mostly directed toward the males. They seemed to heed his warning, but they didn't say, so Cass simply turned his gaze ahead of himself, draping one wing around the fae at his side, and began leading her from the denning area. "You looked tense, and I wanted to show you something. Do you need anything before I lead you off?" he spoke to her in a contented tone, although his violet gaze remained on the area in front of them, rather than on her.

Tempest listens to the one she loves with curious eyes and a gentle expression. "Maybe when we gather next we should meet outside the she-wolves area, I dont want to cause any problems..." she murmmers before allowing herself to be led away without protest. She looks up at the male who dwarves her shyly, and with concern; "I'm just.. alittle confused with it all Saturn." is admitted, "I feel like I am saying all the wrong things you see..I dont want to cause offence." one ear flicks backward at a sound she hears, then forwards again. "And that... that I should show them what I can do..'' she blushes hot under her pale pelt and hopes he doesnt notice. "Contribute in some way." Tempest doesnt say that its because she feels they are waiting for her to mess up, or that she is stealing him away from his loved ones... he probably knows. At the mention of if she needed anything she answers, "I am a bit thirsty, could we stop at the stream?" worry laces her alto voice at the mention because she feels that the she-wolf, Gaapa would be there. Again.

Cassiel tilted his head a little bit at the smaller fae's words. "You needn't worry about that, my friend," it hurts to call her that, but he knows that is all that they can be, "They adore you. And it isn't uncommon for one not from around here to have different opinions. In fact, your opinions are welcome. Perhaps it will be your visit that changes the pack for the better." he said warmly, "You don't have to do anything other than relax until we leave. You are safe as long as I am here."

The aerial wolf mentally hit himself for saying that aloud, knowing very well how close to a confession of affection those particular words were. "Yes, of course." he answered in a calm tone that didn't lead toward the direction his thoughts were taking. Even as he struggled to retain some order in his thoughts, he changed their course in order to lead her toward the stream. "I asked Neptune and her partner for a favor. You said you wanted to see what a mate's dance looked like, and Nep's partner is willing to dance with me, for you." For her. God, he really needed to ask his mother to knock some proper sense back into himself. Tempest was mated, and to his new alpha, no less. Shame bubbled deep in his chest, but his expression remained a carefully placed calm, one that only said that his thoughts were more of a jumble than his exterior let on. He only hoped that Tempest did not ask, because he wasn't sure if he would be able to control himself if she were to.

I dont want to leave! She mentally wails, wincing at the 'my friend' part of his speach. As long as he was here...What if he left to hunt or something? Would she be safe then? Maybe he would let her go with him if he leaves some place. "Me? Change a pack like this? I dont know.. I'm not sure my ideas would fit that well, everything here seems so... structured and formal." The pale gold and snow-white wolf presses into his side and licks his cheek after streaching up onto her toes a minute, excitement and joy about the news of the dance; How could she tell him that should he have asked that day she would have Chose him - defying her brother, having been exhiled, breaking laws - if he had asked? She shyly smiles at her paws, "When will this happen? I hope in the daytime so I can see it best, that would be fun!" she rambles (but also because she knows Shadow cant See her in the day - not that she admits that). Tempest continues to speak, wondering what was bothering him. "Can I ask you something Cas?" she murmmers, waddling towards the water.
