Jabber's finger pressed lightly against the trigger.

Corvino looked down at the girl and smiled unnoticeably.

"Hello dear." the queen greeted. "There are only two known ways to leave Wonderland. The blood of a jabberwocky, or to find a portal. These portals pop up in the most random places of Wonderland. The longest one has ever held up though is about twenty minutes." the queen explained, turning to Corvino.

"What?" Cheshire Cat asked, before he saw Jabber. "Stay right here." he whispered. He teleported above Jabber and snatched the gun aimed at the queen. He wagged his finger at Jabber as he teleported a few feet away from the tree. He made sure Corvino, Roslyn, and the outsider couldn't see him, but that Jabber could.

Lyric fell back on Spice's bed when Henry left. She suddenly heard what sounded like a flute. When she looked up, sure enough, Spice was playing a flute. "You're very musically talented." Lyric complimented. "Thank you, I also know how to play pan pipes!" she grinned, proudly. Lyric thought of Spice as the little sister she never had.

Jabber grinned and pulled out her second gun. waving it in the air. She aimed it back at the queen's head right as she heard her say 'blood of a jabberwocky,'. Surprised by this she exclaimed: "Wait what?" and tumbled out of the tree and right next to the queen. the gun went off with a loud bang and shot through the branch she had just been sitting on. She groaned.

Corvino rubbed his masked face. "questo è semplicemente fantastico" He mumbled to himself as Jabber fell in front of them.

(translation: This is just great...)

Pippins screamed, jumping back and hiding behind Corvino. She didn't dare open her eyes as she gripping his leg tightly.

Furattā sighed and followed Cheshire anyways. She didn't like just being on the sidelines as a spectator. It made her feel unbearably useless and unimportant. She glanced at the queen then looked at the others in silence.

Henrh heard the flute and chuckled a little bit. He still didn't feel his best, but was pushing that aside. There was nothing he could really do about it.

"So what else can you tell me about yourself, Spice?" Lyric asked, looking out the window at Henry. "I like to play with my wind chimes, play the flute and pan pipes, and I wanna learn how to read." Spice said. "I could teach you." Lyric suggested. "Really?! Teach me how to read this book!!" Spice blurted before crawling slightly under the bed and pulling out a book called "Alice and the Three Frogs". Lyric flipped through it and found it was a Wonderland version of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". Lyric sat down with Spice and taught her the sounds letters made.

Cheshire Cat didn't want to interfere, so he took hold of Furatta's hand and turned them both invisible before anyone saw them.

"Well isn't this and interesting turn of events..." Roslyn mumbled, watching the scene play out before her. She picked her rose back up and waved her hand around it, turning it from white to red. "It takes about the size of a drink me glass to equal the needed amount." the queen said to Jabber.

Henry laid down on the ground and closed his eyes. Maybe another nap would help regain his energy. He quickly fell asleep there.

Furattā blinked then looked down at herself. Only, she couldn't see herself. She started shaking, not understanding why she couldn't see herself.

"That's still a lot of blood..." Jabber sat up, rubbing her head. She grabbed her gun and holstered it.

After a couple hours, Spice knew could correctly remember the sounds of letters and say a few words. "Teaching is exhausting..." Lyric puffed. "But, it's so interesting!!" Spice protested. Lyric smiled and rubbed the top of her head. "Well, since there's no way i'm going to learn how to read in one day, can you read the story to me?" Spice asked. "Sure." Lyric said. The book went exactly the same way as Goldilocks, except at the end, the frogs exposed a "stinky smell", according to the book, that chased Alice away.

Cheshire realized felt Furatta shaking. Since she isn't a cheshire cat, he wondered if she could see herself. Cheshire quickly teleported behind a tree and turned them both visible. "You okay?" he asked.

"I guess, but it's basically impossible to find a portal. Who knows, maybe you guys can find another way?" the queen yawned. This wasn't as interesting as she'd hoped it would be. She looked up to see the king had tripped while he was running and got his head stuck in a bucket. Roslyn's eye twitched, wondering how he was ever chosen as king.
