Wolves of the Forest (Wolf RP, ACCEPTING)

"That's okay! I'll teach you," Cerinus yipped with a grin. "C'mon, let's go." She trotted off through the forest, her nose stuck up in the air as she attempted to pick up any scents of prey.

[Spotted.Newt]

Felix followed her, excited to learn how to hunt.

It wasn't long before Cerinus caught the scent of a nearby deer and spotted it grazing among a patch of wildflowers and grass a few feet away. She twitched an ear as a signal for Felix to stop and be quiet and nodded towards the deer. "There's our target," she whispered to him. "We need to keep downwind of it so that it doesn't smell us. Be careful not to step on any twigs or leaves; deers have very good hearing, so even the smallest noise we make could alert it and scare it off. Now, what I want you to do is creep up on it from behind while I go around and wait on the other side. You have to get as close to it as you can, and once you've done that, give it a sharp bite on the heel or bark at it to frighten it my way. If all goes well, it should come my way and I'll be able to attack it from there. You can help bring it down too, if you'd like. After all, two wolves are always better than one!" She smiled. "Sound good?"

Brie huffed. "Tell me about it," she said.

"I'm sure you'll heal soon, oh and keep on eye on Smoke & Shale no matter what don't go with them by yourself." she whispered to Brie.

"Why is that?" Brie asked, raising her head curiously.

Felix nodded. Being quiet was something he was very good at, and he easily walked silently behind her.

"They where trying to get Eclipse to step down from alpha rank, they tried to get her to step in a hunters trap, I think they might go after any high ranked wolves like you, beta. So don't go with them." she whispered as she lay down.

"If they think they can kill me, they have another thing coming," Brie said. "Too bad they couldn't see the fight I was in a couple of days ago... If they had, they would certainly treat me with more respect."

Cerinus crept around the deer as silently as she could and hid beneath a mass of thick, bushy ferns, just across from Felix. She waited patiently for the wolf to make his move.
