Longkit followed Specklepelt and the rest of the kits back to camp. "That was weird," he muttered to Softkit.

Larkflight stood outside the nursery, the wind rustling her fur.

"Yeah, it was starting to get fun before those cats came out of no where.." she whispered to Longkit.

"Hi, Larkflight!" Cinderpaw meowed to her friend as she bounded over to her. "How are you doing? We haven't talked in a while! I guess those kits have been keeping you busy, huh?"

Longkit nodded in agreement. "Yep. Who were they anyway?"

Softkit shrugged "I don't really know.. maybe they are from a different clan?"

Larkflight glanced over to Cinderpaw. "Oh. Yeah I guess. Jaywings... Still mourning,"

"Maybe." Longkit twitched his tail with annoyance. "Just think of all the great adventures we could have gone on! But then they had to show up and then Specklepelt showed up after and now we're being taken back to that boring old nursery. Great."

Cinderpaw's eyes glinted sadly. "Yeah...I'm still upset over that too, to be honest. But I've tried my best to move on. Are you doing okay?"

Larkflight narrowed her emerald eyes. "No," she snapped,"I just lost my brother in law!" ((Lol))

Softkit looked at her mother then at Longkit "Shh.." she meowed quietly before nudging him the other way. "Go that way, we can still have an adventure.." she suggested

Raccoontail nodded. "I saved him once." Cream mewed. "Pfft, I know how to swim!" He replied, rolling his eyes. "Badgerkit, I tell ya what, if you behave we can teach you to swim if Kestrelstar agrees to me- and Cream- training you to climb and swim." He said.
