Merr snarled as his feet were swept out from under him, his head going one say, his body twisting to go the other. But still he jumped forwards,over the waves, following the faint scent of his brother, where he has have surfaced.

Shiva licked her new pups. There were only two, but both beautiful. The female was shy and gentle, and the brother was boisterous and loud.

Chako whined, "Yara, where are you?" Fever burned through her pelt. She was very, very sick. "Luke! Luke, honey, is that you?"

Yuki smiled at Shade and licked his cheek affectionately. "Laters." She turned and trotted off back to the Shadow Pack camp, but had to go through some very long grass to get there. And it was very muddy. Eeew...Now my paws are all dirty again! I hate this place... She thought. But it was also a very good place for hiding traps. As she carried on walking, she could smell metal somewhere close by. Strange. Suddenly there was a snapping sound and a conibear trap suddenly closed on to her, crushing her small body easily. She was about to call for help, but she couldn't breathe properly and had to keep quiet...Even though the pain was unbearable. In a matter of seconds, a big pack of foxhounds shot out and started to tear her to pieces, barking madly. One big dog bit in to her face and wouldn't let go, while another bit in to her throat and pulled hard. The other dogs managed to pull her out of the trap and drag her to the human, who ordered the dogs to stand back. Yuki was frozen in terror as she looked up at the human, who then stood on her neck and chest to stop her from breathing...It was just like the human thought she was a pest, and that she had done something wrong...But she hadn't.

Luke wasn't there. He was running away from home with Chiyo and Bullet.

Josie whined and looked at her mother. "No mother. It's me, Josie." She licked Chako's cheek, whining pitifully. "Mummy... Whats wrong with you? Are you going to be alright? Tell me you'll be alright... Where is daddy? I haven't seen him in ages... I hope he's alright too... But he always is. Mummy I'm hungry." She took a deep breath and blinked at her mother, realising that she hadn't given her time to respond to anything.

Rako nodded with a growl. "Take me to her. Quickly." He got to his paws in a flash and stood by her side, looking around. "How far?"
