He glanced at Shasta with his good eye then looked forwards again as he walked.
"Ehh, vas bear. Bit me ven I vas young" He said, licking his muzzle faintly

"Oh" Shasta said.About a few seconds later,he looked up at Yuri."Hey mister,why do you talk so funny?" he asked,tilting his head.

"Ask so many questions..."He grumbled then sighed as he used a paw to open the door to the office. "I am from Russia. To me, you talk funny."

"Oh" Shasta said again,peeking inside the door."What's this place?" he asked curiously.

"This vere Naoki should be. You vait here for her, she come see you." He said, looking down at the pup now.

"But mister...I dont wanna wait alone" Shasta said,looking at him with his big eyes.

He paused, looking the puppy over before giving a groan and a sigh. He walked inside the room then lowered his haunches slowly.
"Fine, I vait too." He mumbled.

Shasta stood up,his tali wagging."Thanks,mister!" he said,and sat down next to him.He let out a long yawn,then slowly lied down his head against Yuri's leg,closing his eyes.

He blinked, tensing a little and looked down at the husky with his ears perked. Shasta could feel the scars on the skin of the Borzois long leg, long jagged lines of fur missing from around them. Yuri shifted a bit, looking around. He felt a little unsure of what to do but didn't move the pup.

Shasta did notice the scars,so he moved his head a bit to a spot on his leg with less fur.He sighed,closing his eyes again."Mister..." he whispered after a while."Whats your name?" he asked with a sleepy voice.
