She was born in bubblegum beach, at a large historic beach house. When she was nine she spent more and more time with her grandparents at ice cream hills. Her parents were fighting, and they started to drift apart. She would sometimes stay at her fathers new house at Peppermint Forest, but she mainly stayed with her grandparents. Her mother eventually found another man, and lives with him at hershey mountains. When she moved away, Citrus inherited the beach house, were she lives today.

Sunshine stumbled over a rock, falling onto her twisted arm. She screeched.

Coryn pounced on a wriggling gummi worm, growling playfully as he managed to stuff it into his satchel. He shook pale pink sand of his fur before galloping into the shallows. The cool, sugary water washed his paws as creamy sea foam lapped the shore. "Whipped cream!" He squealed happily, lapping some of the milky mixture. The young griffin splashed around, trapping a gummy fish between his paws. Coryn released his grip and watched the red shape streak through the waves until it was no where to be seen. A couple other colorful gummy fish danced through the ocean, darting in and out of the coral reef that was formed near shore. He prepared to duck underwater, but a chocolate seagull landed on his nose first; roosting on it and cawing. "Hey!" He protested, shaking his head as a futile attempt. The gull gave another cry before flying off towards the open sea. "Bwye!" Coryn chirped, dashing a little deeper into the water before retreating back towards the sand.
