Luke was in the kitchen, making himself a sandwich.

Sarah sat on the couch with her feet up on the coffee table, flipping through the TV channels. She groaned. "There's nothing good on."

JJ sat by her and slung his arm around her shoulders. "Not a single thing?"

Sarah glanced over at him as he draped an arm over her shoulders, then sighed. "Absolutely nothing." She turned the TV off. "They need to make better shows or something." She rolled her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder. She'd been released from the hospital a while ago, so she was fine to move around now and everything.

Luke couldn't help it; he listened through the kitchen. He wasn't meaning to eavesdrop, but their voices were loud enough that it wasn't exactly difficult to listen in.

JJ chuckled and kissed her cheek. "Not even a chick flick you wanna make me suffer through?" He teased.

Sarah laughed. "Oh come on, they're not that bad," she said, nudging him with her shoulder.

"They're the worst," he teased.

Sarah laughed and rolled her eyes. "Oh whatever. You secretly love them, deep down inside. Now c'mere, weirdo."

Just as she was leaning up to kiss him, Luke walked into the room with a sandwich in hand. "No PDA in the living room."

Sarah leaned back and groaned. She hated it when her father was over-protective. "Dad, stop."

JJ sighed and looked down at his feet.

"As long as you're in my house, no PDA. Got it?" Luke reminded them of his rule, his gaze flicking between the two.

Sarah groaned. "Dad, he's my boyfriend. PDA is probably going to happen at some point."

Luke shrugged. "Not in my house, it won't." With that, he turned and walked back into the kitchen.
