A bright smile lay across Lia's face as she stood next to a table, waiting for her name to be called. Of course as an Abnegation she gave her seat away, but she was happy to. Her eyes scanned the room filled with blue, black, white, grey, yellow, and red making her smile widen. But where did she belong? She was raised with the selfless, yet she was happy all the time and always reading adventure stories. The question ran through her head once or twice more before her mind emphasized on the word I. This was selfish, beyond selfish in her Abnegation mind but she knew it was a start. I know I don't belong here but where do I belong?
{{ we can start now, they're just waiting to be called
the kiamaras & micro-kias will be on the same level

Caleb sat in his chair, or rather the second or third one he had sat down in since the choosing ceremony started. He was raised to be selfless - Abnegation and all - but he was glad that soon he'd be able to choose someplace he had a bit more freedom when it came to his own desires. Caleb has a small backpack on, he always wore it. And he was itching to finish the book he had hidden inside of it.

Puma sat in a different section of the building, wearing a white shirt with black jeans and a matching black jacket. Honestly she wasn't really one for the monochrome colors...but her faction wore them so she had to as well. Leaning forward with her hands folded in her lap, Puma was a bit worried about the outcome of today. Would she end up transferring, or would she decide to stay after all?

Éponine was much shorter than the others*, although the Dauntless didn't have much rules when it came to modesty in public so she was allowed to sit on her knees. Or rather, she did it anyways. The young micro felt her heart beating quickly in her chest as everyone started choosing their seats and the ceremony was getting ready to start. Éponine herself wasn't quite sure what she would do, stay or go? She loved the freedom of Dauntless - but other than that she didn't really fit in her current home.
((* hello yes she shall be short like me like 4'11 or something bc short people rock *
also i hope my paragraphs are okay lol))

C I N N ACinna nervously took her seat, looking at the five bowls. A million thoughts ran through her head as she quickly and quietly fixed her hair. She knew exactly what she wanted to pick, but she wasn't sure if it was the right choice, especially given her results on the aptitude test. She was still convinced that the lady was confused or read it wrong when she gave Cinna her results. She had gotten Dauntless. Shy, skittish Cinna had received a faction full of people with guns and people jumping off and on of trains. She was considering picking it, but what she thought she would be picking suddenly slipped into the back of her mind as she thought about the Dauntless faction.

Nervous feelings fluttered inside of Reconnaissance, but she simple ran her fingers through her bright pink hair, finger-combing it herself, hoping she looked her best. The blue colors that masked her golden skin appeared terrible, and she definitely needed a change. Although she adored being considered smart to the other factions, she was actually quite dumb to her own faction of Eurdite, forced to wear small spectacles that made her appear 'smarter.' She was born in Eurdite, not chosen, not earned. And she had just about had it with their arrogance and 'too smart for you' approach towards everyone. After all, her aptitude test had pointed her in a different direction than smartness, she never really fitted in with them. Her bright, spikey hair signaled something else, a different faction, where multi-colored hair was favored. Dauntless.

male - dauntless - exited
caspian let out a yell as he sprang from the train, rolling down the grass and breaking into a sprint. the black rope tied to his neck flapped behind him as he suddenly stopped with the rest of his faction, engulfed in a sea of black. as they walked into the building, caspian narrowed his eyes, seeing the colors all around him. he knew where he belonged.

male - erudite - nervous
callum winced, thinking of what is about to come. he imagined his blood dripping into the soil, the sobs of erudite and the cheers of amity. he knew his place, but he didn't want to hurt his family. the green kiamara nervously took his place in the erudite seats. the amity's kindness had always appealed to him, and he had always known that he would never be cut out for erudite, he just wasn't curious enough, not smart enough. he mentally cursed himself, for thinking of leaving his family. the thought both scared and exited him.

C I N N ACinna sighed heavily and nervously giving Eponine a small wave from across the room. She was more nervous than she thought she'd be, since her last name started with a 'B.' That meant she would be called somewhat quickly. She didn't have much time to think, and the two factions had a fight in her head. Amity, what she had been planning on choosing since she was eight, or Dauntless, which the aptitude test suggested.

Dahlia sighed as a thousand thoughts ran through her head. Abnegation? Of course not. Amity? I'd like to. Candor? No thank you. Dauntless? Maybe. . . Erudite? I don't even know anymore. Thank goodness I'm on the far end of the alphabet. Amity, Dauntless, or Erudite? Where will I go? Lia kept her bright smile on trying to be her happy self, being as unsuspicious as possible. The soft soil, burning rock, or glass of water?
