JJ was bouncing his leg nervously, biting his lip.

Luke squeezed her hand and grabbed his suitcase. "Might as well head to the airport."

The doctors kept working on her, trying to stop the bleeding an fix the damage.

Kris nodded and grabbed her luggage.

JJ ran his hand yhrough his hair.

Once out of the hotel, Luke called over a taxi and rode to the airport with her.

A nurse walked over to JJ, feeling bad for him. "Are you okay, sweetie?"

Kris leaned into him.

JJ sighed. "I'm scared for her. She's my best ftiend."

Luke wrapped an arm around her shoulders gently as they sat in the car. "It'll be okay," he murmured quietly, though he wasn't sure if the statement was directed towards his wife or himself. He was internally freaking out.

The nurse bit her lip. "Well I promise you that the doctors are doing all they can to help her." She was a middle-aged woman with a tender heart, and she honestly felt sorry for the boy. He seemed fairly upset.

"God I hope so," he said. "I can't loose.... WE can't loose her."

JJ sighed and looked at her. "I know. I just... her grandmother just passed about a week ago the same way," he said. "I justbhope she lives. That's all I want, you know?"

Luke shook head. "She's our baby. We're not losing her."

The nurse nodded sympathetically. "I'm sorry sweetie," she said gently. "We all want her to pull through. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Kris sunk into him and sighed.

JJ shook his head.

Luke pressed his lips to her hair.

The nurse nodded. "Tell me if there's anything I can do, alright sweetie?"
