Gathering

Marshpelt couldn't bear to look over to where he knew Silverleaf was sitting. Too awkward. Too painful. He focused his eyes on the Highbranch above him, not really seeing the leaders standing there. He heard them, trying desperately to distract himself, but he felt paralyzed. Even to Skystar's chilling threat he didn't react.
(Lame. x.x)

Nightfall was momentarily stunned. He had been caught? The rabbit-like fear left him and he unsheathed his own claws, sharp as icicles. And icicles were sharp. The black tom flinched inwardly at the memory. "I believe the question is what are you doing, Winterfur? You're nothing but a filthy traitor!" His voice was soft, as usual, but venom made up for volume.

Winterfur hissed, chrouching down low. "Take those words back!" She spat. "I did what I had to. Skystar isn't ment to lead this Clan. I should be. Your lucky I didn't kill her!" She growled. Winterfur's claws were unsheathed, ready to spring.

Dovepaw watched the two in dismay, from where she stand in starclan. This was a gathering, not a battlefield. Yet she knew that Winterfur was not one to go by the rules, so this would probably be quite ugly. Eyes narrowed to slits, she could feel the sky darkening around her, slowly hiding the moon inch by inch as it threatened to cover the moon, unless they went their seperat ways. "This is a sacred night, there will be no fighting. I think the two can put aside their fight for 1 night." She murmured to herself, dismay gleaming in her eyes. (Fail! XD )

Islandsong listened to the leaders but she spotted Marshpelt from the corner of her eye. Quietly, she slipped between the cats until she was next to her clanmate. Her blue eyes shone with concern as she looked at him. "Are you alright? You look like you just ate crowfood,"she whispered to him so the other cats wouldn't hear.

Waterclan

Rainpaw sat at the entrance to the camp. She saw clouds near the moon and wondered what was happening at the Gathering. She wished she could be there hut she wasn't, so why worry about it.

((Because we need to wait for Nala's report, I guess I'll just start off with Silverclaw. I'm not feeling my best at the moment, but I'll try. I need a happy cat to enlighten my mood. So maybe that will affect my post.))

Gathering

Silverclaw ((It feels so weird posting for her again!)) listened to the leaders, content with the gathering. She listened in shock as Skystar told of her deputies betrayal. What Bloodstar would have done if Snowclaw did that, she didn't know. She watched from the back of the gathering, wishing she could have gotten there earlier. But she was busy looking for her brother, so she couldn't really talk that much with others. Once she got her mind set on something, she kept it there. But, now she was in the back, hoping that they could get this over with, since during Rainstar's report she had finally found Cloudfur. She would talk to him as soon as the leaders finished.

Nightfall hissed. "You wouldn't dare speak like that in front of Skystar. You were lucky that you are only banished temporarily. You deserve every bit to die like the filthy dog you are!" He bared his gleaming white fangs, beginning to circle Winterfur. If this led to a full-on fight, he was ready.

Marshpelt was brought out of his reverie by the voice of Islandsong beside him. He jumped a little bit, startled by her sudden appearance. "Oh, it's nothing. Umm..." The tortoiseshell tom tried desperately to think of a way to change the subject. "Did you hear Skystar?" he whispered. "We have a traitor in our midst! I only wish I could have been there when she turned."

StarClan

Lightheart alighted beside Dovepaw, ready to watch the gathering. "What?" she asked, seeing the apprentice's angry expression. Instead of waiting for a reply, she followed Dovepaw's eyes. There, just outside the clearing, were two IceClan cats ready to fight. If she wasn't mistaken, they were the traitorous deputy Winterfur and Nightfall, a warrior. The warrior her daughter had healed. She would be seeing much more of this warrior now. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she wondered how to stop this fight before it began. It would not happen on a night of peace! Her eyes drifted across the multitude below her and rested on a she-cat near the back who was seated in just the right spot to interfere...

Winterfur felt a low growl rumble in her throat. "Oh really? Well how about you die first! I'll be SURE that happens!" She spat, lunging at the IceClan warrior. She clamped down on Nightfall's neck scruff and shook it vigorously (sp?) in her mouth. She let go and used her power to create an icicle cage around Nightfall. "Make any sudden movement to attack or escape and I'll have you fur" Winterfur snarled, her hackles raised and her mind alert. She looked at herself and saw that she was dripping with blood. Wha-What is this? No blood was shed..not yet anyway. Oh StarClan, what have I become! She thought. She looked back to her fur and saw that the blood was gone. I...I must've been illusinating...
