Bristlekit understood. He wouldn't have left camp anyway. There are scary things out there for a kit! But he really wanted Momma back. He was getting a little hungry, anyway.

After the female had masked her scent and brought her prey back, she laid it on the pile, looking at her sleeping kits, she saw Echokit was the only one bouncing around and she picked him up by his scruff, taking him into the Nursery, she left the Nursery, the kits were sleeping close to the Nursery and she saw Reveriekit get up and trail to the Nursery to rest and nurse.

Tigerstripe wondered where Volantcry was, it was getting late. "Kits can't go out of camp." He mewed as their mother arrived.

Echokit yawned and watched Bristlekit and was scooped up.
