Bristlekit curled his tail tighter around himself as Volantcry left. He never liked when she had to leave but his siblings didn't seem to mind. He silently wondered where she was going but shrugged and turned to his denmates with a loud yawn. Bristlekit rested his head on his paws and watched Echokit and Reveriekit play.

Echokit looked at his brother. "She is only going hunting no need to cry Bristlekit."

Bristlekit gave his small tail a lash. "I'm not crying!" Bristlekit snapped trying not to sound whiny.

Thunderstorm looked at her. "It will be okay."

Echokit looked at his brother. "She is only going hunting no need to cry Bristlekit."

"I don't think it will, my whole purpose was to find someone who'd love me. I thought that my parents would.. and I searched for them.. But they're dead.. and I saw them die.." She whispered, making it hard for him to hear what she said. She looked away at her leg which was getting a little swollen, she felt like more tears were gathering up in her eyes and she fought hard not to let them fall.

Berry fur padded into the nursery and examine her paws

Sparrowkit tumbled off of blossomkit. She growled a little at echokits stiffness towards to blossomkit, and the others, but shrugged it off easiily. Well not tthat easily. Berryfur walked into the den. Using the distraction, sparrowkit raced aver to her, and pounced on her paws.
"Hello Berryfur! Did you just go hunting? Can you teach me pleeease?" she whined. and looked back at sageleaf, and ran over to her.
"Or can you teach me Mommy?"
