He smirked, nodding agreement before walking out to see what was happening.

He managed to open one eye and stare at him frantically before nodding.

He froze, then his hand whipped out something and he threw it at Bryce, a mini homemade bomb that blew up in his face.

Bryce screamed and stumbled back, yanking out his own bomb and throwing it back at him as he collapsed. It hit Hatter square in the chest and exploded.

He screamed and flew back, glad his vest had a protective layer so the bomb shards didn't kill him.

He heard an explosion and raced outside.

He struggled up into a sitting position and tried to stop the bleeding, pulling out several large pieces of shrapnel from his chest painfully.
