Spottedpaw's rump shook when he got ready to pounce.
Steady.. Steady...
Spottedpaw flew forward, snatching the squirrel with such force the branch shook heavily.
"I did it! All on my own!"
He didn't have a mentor, nope. He did it all on his own! Spottedpaw's mind clicked on, the warrior code. Feed your clanmate's first. His eyes wandered to the family of cats he almost jumped on. He leaped down from the branch, landing close enough where he could walk there.
"Hi, again, are you hungry?"
He set the squirrel down, he was beaming with pride. His golden eyes shimmered and shined in the sun.

Spottedpaw's whiskers twitched.
"Your welcome! Enjoy"
He wandered over to the tree again, climbing up swiftly. He settled down into his 'nest' made out of the softest leaves he could find. He yawned, his eyelids drooped till he was sleeping quietly.
