A day in the life of Rajah:

The sun shone brightly, birds chirped, and squirrels ran. It seemed to be a beautiful day. In Rajahs opinion his bed was much more beautiful. He put off waking up for about an hour, going back to sleep. Yawning, he finally forced himself to wake up. It seemed that the two children were off at school. He sighed a bit, for the children were the best playmates.

After getting something to eat, Rajah lazily hovered around. There were some toys, sure, but they had gotten old. He started to chase his tail out of boredom. However, that didn't amuse him very much either. The sun shone even brighter, which his still slightly sleepy eyes didn't appreciate. He looked at the small slot in the back door, the gate to the outside. Suddenly, he knew exactly what to do.

The grass was soft, and while he enjoyed rolling in it, he much preferred the air. Flying high, he breathed in the fresh spring air. He goofed around, soaring, tumbling, and free-wheeling. He could have gone on forever, but a small, high-pitched voice called him down.

The two children were back from school! The older one was the brother, he was tall and had puffy hair. He landed on it, for it was comfortable. He pretended not to like it, but deep down he did. The voice who called him down was a younger girl. She had short, shoulder length hair. She was a energetic girl, and he loved playing with her.
"Rajah, get off my hair!" The boy said. He complied, but he did so slowly. The boy sighed a bit, and sat down to do some homework.
"Can we play? Can we play house. Pleaase?" The girl begged. She enjoyed playing a game where she pretended to be a mother, and she would talk to herself. He'd be her pet. He didn't really like it, but he did like the girl, so he nodded. "Yay!"

"Come in you two, it's getting dark!"
They both sighed, for they were having fun. They sadly walked in, but he perked up when he smelled dinner. He didn't know what it was, but he liked it! The family gathered at the table while Rajah bobbed near by. The mother gave him some of the leftovers, and they were amazing. He liked the rice the best. By the time they were done, he was stuffed.

Rajah let out a yawn, with his eyes barely able to stay open. He slowly flew to bed, almost unable to fly. He put himself on the fluffy, plush pet bed. Closing his eyes, he drifted off to sleep, wondering what games the next day would hold.....
