.: Lilah :.
Lilah's slender body was once covered in goosebumps, she didn't have a lot to protect her from the breeze at the top of a giant tree. Lilah looked as if she hadn't eaten in three days, her skin appeared so tan in the sunlight. Lilah's eyes stared off into the distance, she saw the sunset. Lilah let out a small sigh, what kept her from stealing the money? perhaps it was Devin. Lilah closed her eyes, Devin the word repeated in her mind. The only boy who was ever nice to him, and she stole from him. Lilah was ashamed of herself but it's not like she could just go back home, home was where the pain really was. For the first time Lilah's ice covered heart felt like it was sinking in guilt, but she tried her best to shut it out. The black rose beneath her right eye was showing like a birthmark. Lilah drifted off a little, she kept lost in her thoughts, the only place she was safe it seemed like. Lilah look what you've gotten yourself into.. your so stupid, you don't even have a friend anymore, look at yourself.. 'look at yourself'. The words were like a radio in her head on repeat, Lilah stopped herself from crying now. Lilah pulled her hood over her eyes, they were hidden in darkness, her hair drooped down like a dieing rose and Lilah didn't bother to move it out of the way. The more hidden she was, the better.
.: Devin :.
"Oh whoa, calm down. I'll answer your questions." Devin said, he took in a breath. "Lilah" Devin smiled slightly. "was a very misunderstood child. The only person who would ever talk to her was the voice inside her head, it's not like your thinking, shes not crazy, but she had a imaginary friend to patch a hole in her heart from loosing a friend once. So, I decided to talk to her." Devin took a pause and looked towards the ground. "She told me everything, she spilled her heart out." Devin took one more pause he shook his head. "Lilah told me how her father was a very harsh man, her mother was a very neglectful woman, she was shut down when her mother told her she was worthless, nothing.. Just one more elf in this world." Devin looked into Verlen's eyes.
"Her mother attempted to give her away. Then her father got tired of it, he just went ahead and grabbed his arrow and forced her against the tree. He shot, now she has a scar, a very long scar, on her stomach. It's her weakest spot, she got it when she dashed into the trees. It never healed." Devin didn't really want to say more, but he went ahead and did. "She never saw her parents again. Lilah ran away, got the rose tattoo by her eye when she left to symbolize her rebellion. Lilah also uses face paint, which hides the shame on her face and clouds it with bravery and fear." Devin took in a breath and continued a little more. "This is where she started to change. Lilah started to go threw denial, shes stuck on anger and fear... Lilah then started living the secretive, wild life and became a rogue. She stole, she cheated, she lied. The sweetest, most innocent girl I ever met turned into a stone hearted emotionless thief." Devin looked down once more. Silverwind nuzzled him. "Anyway.. She never meant to attack you. She just wanted some acceptance I guess.." Devin said, but he didn't leave the stop he was standing in.
