Sarah managed a small smile. "That's one of the things that I love about you. You care about what happens to me."

Luke hugged him closer, just letting him cry. He didn't cry very often, but he found himself swallowing a lump in his throat.

"A lot of people care about that," he said.

Jamie cried into him. "Is Mom okay?"

Sarah shrugged slightly. "Not like you do."

"She will be," Luke promised. "She's hurt right now, but she'll heal."

He gave her a small smile. "And how's that?"

Jamie sighed. "What about you?"

Kris pulled away from Cece and looked around. She needed het inhaler.

"I don't know," Sarah replied honestly. "It's just different."

Luke sighed. "I don't know, J. I really don't."

Cecilie looked up at her. "What it is?"

JJ smiled again and laid by her. "I know what you mean," he said.

Jamie hugged him again and sighed.

"I need my inhaler," she managed between gasps.

Sarah shifted to snuggle into his side. "Good."

Luke hugged him close. He rubbed him back gently.

Cecilie nodded and jumped up. "Where is it?"

He nodded and kissed her head.

Jamie let his father hug him.

"In my room," she said.

Sarah closed her eyes.

Luke exhaled slowly. "I'm sorry, J."

Cecilie nodded and hurried into her room. She searched for the inhaler and found it, then quickly brought it back.

JJ looked at her. "Are you gonna go to sleep baby?"

Jamie sighed. "For what?"

Kris reached for it then pressed it to her lips and inhaled.
