Apollo
- Why Such a Name? -
This little puffball seems as if a star, and he/she (whatever it is when it wins) shines! I chose Apollo merely because it meant light/shining one. I also found that it holds the meaning of God of Truth, so he/she is pure, clean, true. This name also happened to be a planet, sooo like a star..right? Well whatever the reason, it is a unique name, that I see fit for this little beauty.

Drifting through the small poofs of white clouds, that scattered low to the mountains float an unusual sight. The small buz of his helicopter blades seemed the only sound in the night sky, and act like a whisk as he went through the white parts of the sky, mixing them and swirling them up as if they had come to life in the mere presence of the Puffball.
Apollo sighed softly to himself, his pale eyes gazing down to Earth. A ground infested with dangers such as bear, mountain lion, fox, Owl - who only fluttered below him a few yards when hunting - and worst of all, human. This male was untamed and prefered to stay so for quite awhile. In fact, he honestly despised the slender beings, it was nothing personal but the thought of being taken away from such beauty and serenity, and to be fed only on account that your new master wanted to feed you was a terrible thought. He could rely on himself to be fed and learn new things, he even had his own safe home. An abandoned squirrel hole placed in the center of an old fir tree, and though he didn't visit there often, it was home. The puffball continued to fly sleepily along the warm air current, gazing around with eyes half closed, feeling accompanied by the full moon that seemed to share his own white color. He then turned his focus to the moon and the stars,"Hello my dear friend..." Apollo whispered, knowing he would not get a greeting in return, though he was always respectful to the beauties that scattered the sky, for they were what he wished to be. Could you imagine? Being free up in the galaxy somewhere, shining...glowing bright as an individual to be looked up upon as a unique beauty only dreams could touch. Apollo then returned his sleepy gaze to the green sea of a forest he hovered above, letting the painting-like scenery soak in and he drifted along, another white shape taking his place, and he disappeared into the night...
