Not as much as other names I've heard, but it's simple and elegant.
2.)Why do you want to be Maple-star?
I've never given my characters a high rank before before - it would be fun to try it out and give a twist to the stereotypical clan leader.

Maplestar is . . . a bit different from most cats. She has, for whatever reason, been gifted with an extremely strong connection with Starclan. This ability was easily dealt with as a kit, but as she grew, the bond became stronger. Pretty soon she was seeing visions on a daily basis and began hearing their voices in her head. Eventually it became too much for Maplestar, and her sanity cracked. She no longer has any distinction between what she sees and hears inside her head and reality. Maplestar is often seen muttering nonsense to herself. Some days are better than others, however. Sometimes Maplestar can direct and fight for her clan - though she's always exhausted - and other times she'll just stumble around yelling at bushes and screeching for Starclan to stop arguing. It can get very confusing, and most clan members try to avoid her whenever she's having one of her 'fictional fits'.
