Featherpaw
Featherpaw dug deeper into the ferns, now cold and hungry.
The scent of prey over the fresh-kill pile was tempting.
Finally, she padded towards it and plucked out a mouse.
Her day was spoiled.
Shallow-water will see me now, she thought quietly.
Maybe the Dark Forest was a little bit...evil.
Deep down, she didn't dare miss a day of training.
No more visits, she thought.
After all...I don't want to make false omens against my mentor...do I?...

(In case you're wondering, the Dark Forest cats trained her and told her to make a false omen against Shallow-Water, but she isn't evil and didn't and won't do it)

In the medicine cat den
waiting for Featherpaw to come.

He turned away from the apprentices den, and shook his pelt which was swollen with water.
Then, he turned his head to see FeatherPaw.
"There you are!" he padded up to her to see she was damped with rain.
"Mousebrain," he teased then added, "Grab some prey and have a good sleep in the medicine cat den," he meowed, flicking his tail towards the entrance of the medicine-cat den.
His amber eyes glowed as dark clouds begun to show overhead.
More rain?
He glanced up as the clouds made a loud growl.
Sheesh.. this looks bad-
He Leaped up in shock as the wind picked up and rain poured down hard.
"C'mon Featherpaw! Hurry!" He shrieked in shock and dashed into the medicine cat den.

Featherpaw was wetter than ever, swiftly speeding towards the den.
She dived in, skidding, digging her claws in the ground.
She shook thick droplets from her heavy pelt and sat down.
Chewing the last bits of the mouse, she curled up in her nest and started to lick herself.
Shallow-water is right, I was a mousebrain to follow the Dark Forest...
