Spiritstar's history- Spiritkit was born to Blackdawn and Goldenleaf, along with her brother Rainkit. Spiritkit was quite a mischevious kit, always getting into trouble. She would sneak out of camp, she had done it three times! She would always want to play with Rainkit, her brother. When she was apprenticed, she became the medicine cat apprentice to Suncloud, but it wasn't her destiny. Her heart belonged in the warrior's den, not the medicine cat's. It just wasn't for her. She had to explain to Thornstar and Suncloud that it just wasn't her thing. She wanted to learn hunting and fighting, so she did. Though the clan went without a medicine cat apprentice for a while, they were fine. She was soon mentored by the deputy at the time, Blackpelt. She liked Blackpelt, and they became very close. Once she became a warrior, she was named Spiritsong, she loved the name and was proud to be a warrior. Her brother, Rainpaw, became Rainsplash, and they had planned out their 'destiny.' They had always said that Rainsplash would become leader and Spiritsong would become deputy, or that is what they thought. Spiritsong always enjoyed hunting, and hunting patrols, she would also hunt alone some times. Countless normal moons had passed, and everything was normal. Spiritsong was hunting alone and the tang of blood filled the air, she heard a yowl erupt from near the thunderpath. She ran, her paws pounding against the earth, as she saw the figure of Thornstar standing over the bloody dead body of Blackpelt, the deputy and her former mentor. She wasn't seen by Thornstar, fortunately, and she ran to camp, tears streaming down her eyes. She in the warrior's den for the rest of the day. Once the new deputy was chosen, it was no surprise, another evil cat. Redclaw became NightClan's deputy, and Spiritsong was forced to keep everything that she saw a secret, though she was bursting to tell someone. Thornstar had not known of her knowing, but she did. The secret slipped out of her mouth when she was hunting with Blackdawn. Blackdawn was surprised, and wasn't sure whether to believe this or not. Spiritsong still knew about Thornstar, she knew what she had seen. Thornstar was getting more mysterious, and soon the clan started to suspect it. Many more moons had passed, Thornstar was on her last life, and she finally went crazy. She forced the kits not to believe in StarClan, she told them things about the Dark Forest and how 'good' it was. She raised evil warriors, and became blood thirsty. Of course, most of the clan noticed she was evil, and began to show animosity towards the evil leader. During a hunting patrol with Rainsplash, Moonglow, Spiritfire, and Snowpaw, the sight of Spiritsong's father came into her sight. Not a good sight, Thornstar had slashed Goldenleaf, through the throat. He lay dead, this time, Thornstar had noticed. Luckily, Spiritsong had the first move, she leaped at Thornstar, the tussled in the dirt, and Spiritsong had gotten the last move, as well. Thornstar fell dead in front of her paws, and the patrol stood staring. Of course, someone must kill the deputy, who the clan had suspected as well. But no, Redclaw was exiled from NightClan, later on, he was killed by Spiritsong for trespassing onto NightClan territory. They were both sent to the Dark Forest. Of course, NightClan needed a leader. They chose their savior, Spiritsong, to become the leader of NightClan. She was taken to moonstone by Suncloud to earn her nine lives. Of course, her story is not over, for she has many more events in her life. She needed a deputy, of course, so why not pick her brother, Rainsplash? Rainsplash became the deputy, and served throughout two of Spiritstar's lives. Once Moonglow confessed his love towards Spiritstar, she knew that she had to choose between two cats, Spiritfire and Moonglow. Once she had found that she in fact liked Moonglow, she just couldn't resist becoming his mate. Though Spiritfire would be envious, she still hoped that they could be friends. Blackdawn had Spiritstar and Rainsplash's sisters after that Smallkit, Bluekit, and Icekit were their names. Spiritstar had Tigerkit and Hollykit with Moonglow, as well. Rainsplash took over the jof of leader until the kits were 3 moons old. Then, other queens would help take care of them, though Spiritstar would still care for them, of course. As revenge, Thornstar took Spiritstar's first life away, by clawing her neck and throwing her from the highledge. Not lomg after, a fire broke out through NightClan camp, and Spiritstar helped the cats out, starting with her own kits, seeing that Blackdawn got her kits and took them to the lake. Moonglow made it himself. Spiritstar lost her second life by inhaling too much smoke. Rainsplash also lost his life, for the same cause. Spiritstar was devastated, her brother was dead, and she had to choose a deputy. NightClan temporarily stayed in FeatherClan camp, while they were recovering. When they got back to camp, Spiritstar made Russetwing deputy. She was incredibly happy with her choice)
