"Why not? Why can't you just go?!?!" Ashley snapped before calmign herself down, runnign one of her hands through her light strands of hair, "I - We were fine before you came along," She hissed angrily, she closed her eyes and tilted her forehead to the floor, tryign to calm herslef.

"Before we came along? I have been alive longer then you, and your parents, and your great grandparents." Lucian said as he looked at her, "And I remember back in the day you hunted us like animals." he said as he looked at her, "Humans have done much worse things then us."

"Worse," Ashley spat, She hesitated a second before opening her mouth, she looked up ito Lucian's eyes, "Kill me then," She stated, "Why would I want to come with you?" She asked, a serious question...

Lucian looked at her, studying her. "Because life is not as horrible as you think it is. Not all master's are cruel and heartless, he are not all cats who toy with out prey. Some have emotions." he replied.

"You don't understand life," Ashley argued, her emerald eyes studying the vampire who stood before her.

"Explain it to me then." Lucian replied as he looked at her.

"It cannot be explained." Ashley stated, her voice calmer though she still had no desire to give into this... monster. "It needs to be experienced. And that is why you do not understand." She concluded her sentence in a small snarl, though this was not a reflection of her anger, simply a reflection of her arguement.

Lucian looked at her, "I may never have been human, but I have lived." he said as he studied her. He sighed softly as he glanced back at Ari.

Ashley let out a small, sarcastic laugh, "A life of Murder and blood thirst counts not for living," She snapped back. She knew she should be with her master, but she herself had escaped and had no desire of returning and having to repeat her escape once again.
