ᶤᵛʸᵖᵃʷ waited for that cats to settle down before explaining in a clear and calm voice. "My fellow clan cats- Rosepaw has been killed by the same cat that killed Warmheart." The cats all hissed and called out, asking "Who was it?" She answered them carefully. "A cat has been framed once more. I found Fallenheart beside Rosepaw, scratched and covered in her blood. BUT!" she called louder when the cats all yowled in fury. "It does not make sense. He was with me only seconds before, and wouldn't have had the time to kill her, especially if she put up a fight. I say we sit our vigil for Rosepaw, and let Larkstar decide who is guilty." The cats seemed to listen, which made Ivypaw relieved. Gesturing for Fallenheart to set Rosepaw down, she turned to fetch the leader.

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ was glad the medicine cat appreciated him. Pleased but still worried, he yowled in surprise when she fainted. He made sure she was breathing well before picking her up and placing her on his back. She wasn't heavy, but her limp body was awkward to carry. He thought he smelled Dawnclan scent coming from the East. Turning, he prepared to defend himself and the unconscious medicine cat.

The vixen knew she had crossed the border by now, and was not surprised when she caught scent of the other clan. she knew her scent probably wreaked of Dawnclan, so she rolled vigorously in the dirt to mask her scent. she then got up and shook her ginger pelt, approaching two cats. she dipped her broad cranium before stating her presence, " I'm Copperwhisker, our deputy has killed an apprentice in our clan. I wish no longer to be in a clan of murderers, i wish to join the true clan. Duskclan." she said with a shaky voice, like one of an unsure kit being made an apprentice. .

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ set Mintyleaf back down, standing over her body protectively. Copperwhisker spoke. He recognized her from Gatherings, but they'd never spoken. She wanted to join. Two new warriors in two days? He let his fur rise warningly. "If what you say is true, then I don't blame you for leaving. If you come with me, I could try to appeal to my leader. We just recieved a new warrior yesterday, though, so don't get your hopes up." Picking up Mintyleaf, he waved his tail for the she-cat to follow. He was alert, ready to attack if this turned out to be some trick or ambush.

ˡᵃʳᵏˢᵗᵃʳ entered the camp just moments after Ivypaw and Fallenheart arrived, She heard the explanation as she fought her way to the front of the throng. "Fallenheart," she mewed carefully. "Is all of this true?" The Clan was silent as they watched the leader converse with her mate and deputy. He couldn't be a killer, but this was the second time. She would never believe he'd done it, but the Clan would want action. When Fallenheart didn't deny the story she poke to the Clan. "We all know Fallenheart to be a strong and kind tom. However, in light of the evidence, I say this:" She looked at Fallenheart sadly. "You will be confine to the camp for one moon, and temporarily removed of your deputy status. Once the true killer is caught, your rightful position will be given to you again. Does anycat object?" Her eyes scanned the crowd.

Fallenheart sighed and nodded. The cats hissed in objection but in the end just accepted the offer anyways. He looked up to see Nightfrost passing by. "Like what I did?" Fallenheart glared as he walked away a little then realized no where in the clan conversation did he say he was pushed into the apprentice. he didn't say a word. Fallenheart hissed jumping on Nightfrost and scratching at his face. "I hate you!" he yowled as Nightfrost squirmed away. Fallenheart chased him but was pulled back. Nightfrost had a pathetic look of innocence. "What! I didn't do anything!" Fallenheart yowled back. "Liar! I hate you! I heard that! You slick rotten liar!" the cat pinned him down and yowled at him to stop.

She dipped her cranium and her orbs looked relieved, the only emotion other than anger that had shown in them that day. Flicking her bushy banner she knew her skills were superior to any cats, even the old deputy that was a traitor. she let out a snort, though not meaning to out loud. she looked slightly embarrassed as she tucked her tail for a few moments before getting her confidence back. she had never seen this cat before though, so she asked softly, " Who are you?" She knew her normal hostile tone would be rude to use against a cat who was willingly taking her in. She felt like a kit again, when she first went to Dawnclan, un sure of herself. She wasn't familiar with this part of the forest, she felt tiny in a huge world. she knew that no one from the other clan would come back to claim her, because they would soon exile the murderer. Fallenheart would be given what he deserves she thought with a darkened look on her face..

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ frowned at Copperwhisker's slight attitude, but she seemed to realize her mistake because she spoke more softly after that. "I am Stormcloud, the deputy of DuskClan. This she-cat on my back is Mintyleaf. Starclan sent her a message, and she well, fainted. I was carrying her back to camp when you arrived." He glanced ahead. The rolling bare hills were void of cover, but for the thicket of hazel bushes that served as their camp. Another clearing rested inside the thicket, and it was there that the Clan made their dens. Copperwhisker had the strong thick muscle of a Dawnclan cat, while Stormcloud was sleek and long-legged like most of his clan. Hopefully Copperwhisker would learn the ways of Duskclan.

ˡᵃʳᵏˢᵗᵃʳ yowled when Fallenheart attacked Nightfrost. "Hey!" She yelled, making sure the toms were separated. "Both of you, my den, NOW!" She ordered. Turning to the rest of the CLan she said, "Please have the queens clean up Rosepaw, and everycat start your vigil." She pushed the two toms into her den with a hiss. Fallenheart was her mate, but she was acting as a leader, not a friend or lover. "Fallenheart, why did you attack him?" She demanded, her green eyes fierce.

Fallenheart glared walking into the den. "He taunted me. He knows, he did it. I can go up to his apprentice now and ask him if he was training. The answer will be no because he was outside killing Rosepaw and setting me up. I was pushed into her by someone. There were warriors scratches on my back. You can go ask Copperwhisker in Duskclan where she scratched me, not my back. The way Rosepaw was killed she would not be able to attack the attackers back. Her claws are small. The cutes on my back are deep and wide. He here just said to me, DO you like what I did?" Night frost's eyes were wide. If he was Larkstar he could have been fooled, an actor. "No, I said Like what you did. I was asking you if you were happy for what you've done."

"You know, I rolled around in dirt, do I smell bad?" she questioned, before letting a mrrow of laughter slip from her maw. she was slightly embarrassed at the ignorant question, "Of course I smell!" she muttered loudly to herself. She began to groom on the go, hanging her cranium down to her long chest fur, she would take a quick lick, then look up to navigate. Yet her system had some flaws, she ran into the back of Stromcloud a few times, always replying " Sorry," then purr quietly to herself. She found it quiet amusing, but Stormcloud didn't look as amused she though...

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ said nothing when the she-cat apologized. He kept his silence the second and third time, too. His ear flicking with annoyance, he wished she would finish grooming soon. Just as she seemed to stop, pleased, the camp appeared in their path. Stormcloud spoke. "Follow me, and keep your tail down. If you look cocky the Clan will assume you're an intruder, plus Mintyleaf is passed out, so they'll assume the worst." Padding through the bush tunnel, he called out, "Whitestar, we have a visitor." Cats saw Mintyleaf and began to worry, but he reassured them. "Mintyleaf received a message, and grew faint. She'll be alright." Once the cats were satisfied, Stormcloud set Mintyleaf down and let the queens take care of her.

ˡᵃʳᵏˢᵗᵃʳ frowned, thinking carefully. "Well Nightfrost, it's true that you've been out of camp lately. I recall you being absent when Warmheart died as well." Her eyes narrowed. "Both of you will remain in camp, under careful guard 24/7. Got it?" She glared, as if daring either one of them to protest. "Ivypaw and Volepaw will be given temporary mentors until this is settled." (sorry for the short post)
