Shallow-Water yawns, Taking in the scent of herbs and rain.
Raining again?..
Using his paws to wipe out the blurry vision in his eyes, Shallow-water stretched in his comfy moss-nest, and looked around the Medicine cat den.
Shallow-water pads out of the medicine cat den, his thick Grey and Silver tabby fur shielding him from the wind and rain.
Small, circular shaped egg-like globes were falling from the sky, and hitting the ground every couple seconds with a "Crash."
He backed into the medicine cat den, and sat at the entrance.
Speckle-paw is probably in the apprentice's den,... where's Featherpaw? The thought popped into his mind.

Featherpaw padded from under a bunch of damp ferns.
Her fur was all wet and soaked and she was shivering a little in the morning breeze.
She blinked her huge eyes at Shallow-Water, hiding.
I am not gonna spend the morning gathering more herbs, not today, she thought.
Pushing deeper into the bracken, she cracked a twig. Mouse-dung, he'll see me now, she thought.
Staying very still, her mind racing with excuses to tell.

What was that? He flicked his ears in the direction of the snap of a twig, but shrugged.
I'm probably just hearing things.. he thought. If it is a clan member, they'd be inside camp,...
He stretched and padded towards the apprentice's den, away from the medicine cat den.

I yawn, forcing a smile as I see Shallow-Water enter the Apprentice's den.
What's he want at this time of the morning?
I look up at him, his fluffy Silver and grey fur is swollen with rain, and his amber eyes are glowing more than ever right now.
"Hello Shallow-Water, Good morning!" I force the energetic words out, though I hate waking up in the mornings to a grumpy medicine cat.
