Gray
Gray continued walking, dismissing the fact that her question had been ignored. And she didn't want to repeat herself, anyway. She grumbled quietly when a light rain began falling, which soon turned heavier. Gray didn't mind the rain - in fact, she enjoyed it - but she wasn't too keen on getting soaked while the temperature int he air was dropping. Groaning lightly in complaint, her eyes darted everywhere, searching for anything out of the ordinary. Nothing seemed too out of place, but it was so quiet that she couldn't help but be suspicious. "We're about a mile away from Wal-Mart now. If we stay at this pace, we should-" Gray shut up when she heard the sound of an engine roaring in the distance. Whirling around in place many times, her pale colored eyes eventually saw headlights shining, and moving, too. Luckily they weren't pointed in their direction yet, and were too far away to even fall on the two girls, but they were they. "S***, they're still here..." She muttered under her breath, going tense. She immediately began looking around. "We need to take shelter until they're gone. We're too vulnerable out here."
Zenon
Zenon had made his way to the window by now, and was simply staring out into the night, listening to the sound of rain slapping the pavement. It was soothing, but also stressful, as apparently there were other teens out there. For all he knew, they all could be dead. Eli and Gray were the only two names he remembered hearing from the girl, but there were bound to be others somewhere. And if they were caught up in this rain, or caught by those hunters, or whatever they were called, then they'd definitely not be in a good situation. Sighing, he amused his mind by using a piece of glass to engrave a silly little design into the wall he was leaned up against, using his own hand to carve it with, rather than his mind.
