i like pop music
but i hate disney songs because then kids grow up listening to that music without discovering some really great non-disney music
and i hate rap because it usually talks about... bad... subjects... xP

I love Disney as I said and I do discover new great music. There are no connection there...
It's not that I only hear Disney. That's seriously a wierd argument for hate Disney music XD
I hear a lot of good arguments and of course it's okay to hate Disney, but seriously, we Disney lovers do hear other music. Believe me! All my sitsers are in love with Disney music, but we do hear all this new music and all the good old music, like Bryan Adams, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, a variation of danish artists and all kind of new music.
Disney don't prevent other good music, your silly head.

Yes, I love some songs from the aristorcats, a very old disney movie. I sing them sometimes and my friends or people around me ignore it. It's all cool though they've gotten used to my singing habit.

But I despise the Jonas brothers. If people think that the "Jo-bros" or Miley Cyrus or any of that is what teens love, they should wake up to the real world. Only 11 year olds going through puberty like these things, I mean seriously! I hope no one takes offence, this is my opinion, I am not saying the Jonas Brothers are they worst band ever, brain-washing little children, tut tut tut, even if that's what I'm thinking. I can't stand them for personal reasons and their music is pretty bland too.

Rap and Hip-Hop...I really can't much tell the difference between the two. XD; I guess Hip-Hop has more of a rhythm to it or something?
But I hate them both. I mean, I can listen to music with SOME profanity in it....but when they abuse it, I'm just kinda like, "Ummm...no." That and the content...jeez. When 'Soulja Boy' was popular, I was appalled when I hear the lyrics. The sad part is that most of the listeners have no clue what it's about. It's disgusting.
But really. I don't give a rat's rear end what you did to your sister's cousin last month. I want to listen to music, not your disgusting fantasies and whatnot.
There are very few rap songs and artists that I like. Like Group 1 Crew. xD I love em. They also prove that Christian music can come in any genre. :3

Umm.....I like the old school Disney music. You know, Hakuna Matata, Under the Sea...all that jazz. Jonas Brothers and Miley/Hannah I could really care less about (Actually, I can't stand Miley. XD; She's a brat.)

As for what I usually listen to, it's really mixed. I like rock, metal, silly show tunes, game music...just whatever I think sounds good. XD
Lemme see how many I can list from the top of my head...Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, Heartdales, Crush 40, Kamelot, Superchic[k], Michael Jackson, Three Days Grace, Demon Hunter (which they're actually Christian. XD), Flyleaf, Ricky Martin, Shakira.....too lazy to list more. XD And I doubt you wanna read a big 'ol list.
But yeah, it's varied. =3

I like the older Disney music like the Lion King and stuff, but not the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana and High School Musical. <_< My little cousin forced us to watch the Jonas brother show. It drove me crazy.
I love Coldplay and Superchick (Christian rock band). Plus a lot of the songs I hear on Guitar Hero i like.

Oh yes guitar hero! I didn't listen to that much rock before I got it, there was a little old school rock here and there, but not much. But then I bought guitar hero 3 and the music ROCK! I so love it. So now I hear rock from time to time. There are a really cool band called Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, it's a rock band and they just rock my day! I can't remember if there is a song of theirs on guitar hero, but it's the same genre.

I listen to all kind of music mainly Disney. But I like Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, Aqua (gotta love Aqua XD), Spice Girls (Old fan of them, can't help but listen to them ), silly music like parodies on pop and/or rap music XP, a lot of old school rock, like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Grease and such... And I could go on and on. I am very varied when it comes to music

I Hate Rap. It's awful. But when some people sing it it's cringeworthy. I love the "classic" Disney songs, not this new rubbish.

However, I absolutely despise hip-hop and Disney music. I can't stand it. Any of it.
