Reddawn nodded, " Spottedkit, a cat must first be picked by the current leader to be deputy, when the leader dies and goes to StarClan then the deputy becomes leader and gets their nine lives" she meowed.
Whitepaw chanted for Thunderstorm and wondered, when would it be him they where chanting for?

Once the noise died down, Spiritstar had a second announcement, possibly a bit more exciting, "I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of NightClan is RUSSETWING!!" She yowled, as her voice rang through camp.
"WOW! The deputy!" Spottedkit exclaimed.
"RUSSETWING! RUSSETWING!" Cedarpaw chanted loudly
"RUSSETWING! RUSSETWING!" Blackdawn yowled as well
