Names: Flame and Noki
Genders: Both females
Use: Charrries, maybe. In siggy at least. Also, my den & in my trading rules. If I won her, I would continue her story, for, maybe, extra credit at school. xD
Info: Flame is a big sweet heart, as her marking hint. She is smart and fast, but always gently and thinking of others first. She is almost everyone's best friend.
Noki is brave and bold. Nothing scares her. She can be a great friend, or a even better enemy. She is considerate, but one wrong move and she will bring you down faster that you even though was possible.
Story: WIP
Flame woke up to the dawn light. She blinked sleepily at the bright sun, scorching her pupils. She stared up. She could feel her black band around her neck. It's tethers were her good luck charm. She sung her hair out of her face and sat up. Her bobbed tail swished back and forth when she smelt Dawn making breakfast.
Noki peeked in on Flame. Lazy head, she thought fondly as she watched Flame's gentle rise and fall of her chest. I'll go make breakfast, she thought. She headed over to the other part of the den. Her tail dragged on the dirt ground, and she briskly lifted it and walked faster. Her bright aqua eyes saw everything, and her striped ears could pick up every sound. Her hair swished out of her eyes when she sat down to prepare they're next meal.
Flame walked in to the meal part of the den. "Hi Noki!" she said, yawning. "Good morning lazy bones," Noki replied without looking around. "What's for breakfast?" Flame said. "Well, I found some crackers on my morning walk in the woods today, so we'll have that, and, some leftover cheese from last meal." Noki said, knowingly. They ate silently through the meal. "Go catch some meat while I clear of the rest of the den parts", Noki said to Flame when they finished eating, "We need room to store food." "Okay, fine," Flame replied, getting up "Bye. See you later." And with that she was out of the den.
Flame roamed around the wooded area. It was all plain, it seemed, but rustled with life. A bird called from the trees. Flame's eyes pricked up. She sensed a rodent near by. Turning her senses slightly, she found the mouse. She slowly but surely stalked it, waiting to make the final blow. The mouse's eyes and nose twitched at the last moment, as if sensing it's hunter. But it was too late. Flame sprang, and bit swiftly into her prey's neck-a quick ending to a short life. She turned back towards the den to give her prey to Noki, satisfied with her hunt.
Noki sneezed when some dirt flew up in the air. She was cleaning out part of the den, and was making good progress. The floor had to be partly clean, for the food with out a shell or cover. It was hard work now, but come winter time they would both by grateful for Noki's efforts to make room for stored food and Flame's caught prey when they didn't have to go out in the wet, windy cold for every meal. Only a large log was left in the new area now. Noki new better than to try to move it on her own-it was much too big. While thinking how to move it, Flame walked in with a mouse dangling from her jaws.
Flame walked in, and noticed Noki looking troubled. "What's wrong?" she said, dropping the mouse on the floor. "Just help me move this log outta here, kay?" Noki said. "Okay," Flame replied, walking over there. Together, Flame pulling and Noki pushing, they moved the log out. "All right!" Noki declared, clearly satisfied, "The new storage area is now ready to use!" She glanced down at Flame's mouse. "Well, there's dinner, so tomorrow you and I will need to go hunting for more storage-food." "Okay," said Flame happily, and they settled down to eat.
It was dark now. The moon was out, glistening over the basking trees. Wind whistled quietly in the dog's ears as they prepared for sleep. After turning in circles, Flame laid down with satisfying "plop". "Noki?" she called quietly across the sleeping room. "Yeah?" Noki replied, yawning as she did so. She turned a bit, too, and laid down and then sighed happily as she and Flame nuzzled each other. "Good night," Flame said. "Night night," Noki woofed softly, and they both fell in a deep, happy sleep.
"Flame!" Noki called out softly, "Flame!" "Whaa-?" she started, then quickly hushed her self as the heard to patter outside the den. Rain! "Yay! We needed some rain," Flame replied quietly. They watched the water fall from the sky together, leaning against each other. Flame could feel Noki's body heat, and felt content in her placement. She sighed happily, than started to think about how tired she was, and how warm and soft and comfortable Noki felt...
"Flame!" called Noki again, amused. Flame just woke up and had fallen asleep again.
