The fantastic song that Luke usually adored and could not listen to enough seemed thoroughly embarrassing at the moment and he felt his cheeks get hot, especially when the girl - Skye - pulled him up. He didn't quite get the hand shake thing until after a second or two, and during those two seconds his arm was limp. "Oh," he said aloud, realizing they were sort of greeting each other. He shook her hand, probably gripping just a tad too hard to steady his trembling hand. "L-L," he began, but paused. Luke swallowed and forced himself o speak steadily, "Luke." As he spoke, however, his cheeks turned even redder, and he couldn't look at Skye, so he looked down at his shoes instead.

Maudine Renee Parker (Max) :: 18 :: Down the street

Max practically skipped down the threaded sidewalk(not literally), but her footsteps were a little softer than usual. She ran a hand through and hair and flipped it, letting it settle, and also letting a small half-smile show across her face. Her sudden mood change came almost instantaneously..and left just as quickly. Because once she turned around the corner and took sight of a 'closed for the day' sign on her favorite diner's window, it took that burst of energy away from her. Max muttered a few choice words and leaned against the wall. She had hoped that the diner would be pulling away from the threat of being shut down due to lack of customers, but it seemed luck had decided to take a different route. The diner was constantly closed most week, and when it opened there weren't the number of customers it needed to keep up with more popular places. It seemed the place was just not going to make it. After a few seconds Max lifted her head and breathed in the gritty, morning air. I wish I stayed in today.

She bit back a soft giggle and took her hand from his, rubbing her hand, which was slightly red. Her cheeks turned a soft shade of red, and she lifted the knocked down table. Her frappe spilled and her donut putting crumbs everywhere. Oh well. She picked up her phone and slid it in her pocket, wrapping her headphones around her neck. " W-would you l-like to s-sit? " She asked, a shaky finger pointed to the empty chair.

Well it was just one of those typical mornings for Ray. Nothing special ever happens here. Wake up, go to the coffee shop and grab an ice coffee and a donut or two. She loved sweets in the morning, no she never gained any weight. Always kept it at a skinny 115. She sat down at a table with only two chairs that sat next to a large window looking out towards the road. Gosh everything was just going normal. The queit mornings relaxed her from all the crazyness at home. Living with your parents and two younger brothers is a chore. She giggled a little and nibbled on a donut.

Sam just walked on those sidewalks jamming to some hard rock music like he did everyday. He loved to get out of the house and walk around. He was one of those people that didnt play video games, or spend the whole day on the computer. No he liked chilling out at the park. People though he was weird, but he is perfectly normal in his mind. He strolled in towards the park, watching all the dogs and children play. He sat down on a bench and just refreshed himself in the brisk morning air.

Aurora & Tom :
"Milo! Come Milo! C'mere boy, come puppy, puppy, puppy," Aurora trilled as she saw her best friend emerge from around a corner. Oh, and Tom was with Milo too. The fawn colored two year old bounded away from his owner, effectively ripping the leash out of his hand with little apparent effort. "Miloooo!" In her doggy voice, she greeted her friend as he literally bounced up to her, small tail waving in excitement. "How are you baby?!"

"Ror!" Tom called, simply smiling at the reunion of the two - even though they had just seen each other last night. "Ror c'mon, there are other people around. Could you at least try to act a little civilized?" teased the young man as he strolled leisurely up to the pair. The two had opted to meet in the park today, rather than at Aurora's farm - Tom had insisted - no more horseback riding for him.

"Please," Aurora began, falling to the ground with Milo as she rubbed him, "I was raised in a barn. There's no civilization here." She grinned.

Luke :
Flustered, the boy jumped to help Skye lift up the table. "I-I'm so sorry," he murmured again, wrapping the cord of his headphones around his finger. As always, his pale green gaze was trained to the ground, so of course he noticed the crumbs and beverage spilled everywhere. "Oh, gosh," he muttered, ""I-I can buy you another if you want...?" He offered, glancing over at the ever growing Starbucks line. At Skye's offer, he first glanced over at his own table, which housed his lemonade and note pad - they were supposed to be keeping his seat, however that seemed to have failed. He sighed, disheartened, and turned his head to briefly peer at Skye. He nodded. "O-okay..." he agreed, "l-lemme just..." Scooting over quickly to his previous table, Luke snatched his drink and note from the table before scurrying back to Skye.

Skye nodded. " R-really..It's o-ok.." Her gaze drifted down to the floor, and then down to the mess. " N-no..Its o-okay..I can b-buy my s-self another o-one.. " She walked to the front counter and grabbed a good 6 or 7 paper towels and came back. She went down in a kneeling position and wiped the mess up, threw what was left of her donut away, and the grande-sized container in the trash. " W-would you r-rather go to t-the park or s-something? "
