Dog's Name: No name (he's a stray)
Weight: Guessing between 35-50 lbs (carried him).
Height: 1'8" from feet to back, or 2'2" from feet to the top of his head.
Pictures: I'm sorry that they're not very good. He is extremely submissive and lays down if you get too near him.

I would guess spaniel/lab mix. Use super yummy food and let him come to you to help him feel better about humans!

Or maybe border collie x lab. Could be either or, but he has a very labbish head.
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe

I was going to go with border collie X lab as well. He probably could have a little spaniel or something mixed in.

Yeah I think he could be lab x bc c:

Hopefully this is allowed, cookies go to the person who can guess this dog's breed and the founding breeds of her breed (there are 2). Just want to see what people come up with, the first part should be pretty easy x) Hint: her ears are incorrect for her breed. Also, I think I know of her conformation faults, but I'd like to hear your opinion.

Dog's Name: Journey
Weight: 28 lbs
Height: ~21.5 inches at the withers
Pictures:
Stacked, side: sorry for lack of contrast with the background and that she's posting a bit, here's one of her standing naturally
Stacked, front: aha! found one! it's from when she was two, she's filled out a bit more in her chest since then (she's almost 4 now)
Head Profile: here
Extras: another headshot, least blurry gaiting picture I have, crappy angle though

She definitely looks sight hound-esque. ;D Her coloring looks like a saluki.

I'm going to go with long haired whippet.... Well actually... She could be a silken wind hound as well...

If she is indeed a long haired whippet then her origins (although disputed regularly) are Italian greyhound, grey hound, and a few terrier breeds, some people add that borzoi may have been used to get the longer coat, but that isn't known for sure.

If she has any silken wind hound, the. She's basically a long haired whippet mixed with borzoi....

Either way, she's gorgeous.

Yes, although highly disputed like Bengal said, my belief is that the sheltie was introduced into whippets in order to get the longer coat. But, I could be wrong as the history is pretty wishy-washy.
