"Good night," said Shadowfur, lying down next to Mothflight

She woke up to sunlight streaming throwing the den. She yawned and stretched. She was heavy with her litter of kits, it had been almost 9 moons since she went away from the clans. She could feel then squirming in her massive, round belly. Mothflight sat down on the soft moss with a loud THUD.

[Royallioness]

"Mothflight, you just sat on my tail," said Shadowfur, wincing as Mothflight shifted her weight

[Toxic Nightshade]

"Sorry!" She said, moving over and lying down. She had been taught to hunt and fight, but she was MUCH better at her medicine duties. "Wanna go hunting?" She asked, wincing as the kits in her belly squirmed.

[Royallioness]

" I think you should stay back this time Mothflight. Your kits are due any minute now. I'll bring you a nice fat rabbit."

She lied down and took a nap while Shadowfur went off to hunt for a juicy piece of fresh kill.

When he returned with two rabbits, Mithflight was nowhere to be found ' She's probably just getting a drink,' he thought to himself, so he didn't go looking for her. He ate his rabbit and soon fell asleep

Mothflight had left because she had an awful dream about her camp in fire and destruction, with badgers killing everything in sight. She shook of the memory and dark for the stream. An agonizing feeling hit her in her stomach. She was having her kits. She lay down in the shelter of an oak tree.

FADE TO BLACK

Three little kits lay at her belly suckling. She wished Shadowfur was here. She would have to take them back to the den.
