Dipping my head to the Riverclan cats, and stunned at their show of respect to Foxfur, I turn and follow the deputy out of their camp. Once we're out of ear shot of the thin clan, I speak my doubts, "Don't you think it will be difficult; feeding two clans without any cat finding out?" I know its a dumb question; she's probably thinking the same thing, but I have to ask. What if she has a plan already formed? The way she spoke back there... she sounded so sure of herself. it was something of a relief, considering our current leader is so busy and frazzled; Thunderstar has too many things going on, too many mice beneath her paws, eventually something was bound to get away from her. I guess this was that; we were that.

I don't respond to Shadepelt until we've passed the river back into Stormclan territory. On our side of the bank I stop walking and turn to him, "It will be difficult; but we will manage." I say confidently, "The hardest part will be keeping this from our clanmates, and our leader." I sigh, looking into Shadepelt's deep, sky blue eyes, seeing my worry reflected there, "If anyone found out... we'd probably be banished, or worse." I sigh, "I have been having trouble getting a read on Thunderstar anymore; she's so... she's always changing, her personality seems warped and random. She is more than a leader now; she's a mate and a mother; I think it's taking it's toll on her." I keep my voice low this whole time, so that my meow barely travels to Shadepelt, lest another cat is nearby, but when I finish my concern, I raise my voice and ask in a normal tone, "Would you like to go hunting?"
