I shrugged. I guess that was a valid reason for Piefan's question. When the new dog, I'd forgotten her name, read the part about the PPS pups and kittens, I frowned. "They've never gone missing before. Peter Pan Syndrome pets have always been apart of ChickenSmoothie." I looked accusingly at Sagittarius. (Woah. The name popped up on autocorrect!) "Do you have anything to do with it? If it were happening, of course." 'Cause it's not, I added silently to myself.

The Nightmare Forest always seemed darker on this day. I strode past the trees guarding our hideout and went in. The few inside stopped talking as my mind made its presence known. They all knew I could turn a pet mad if I chose to. Those pets almost always got deleted by their humans and ended up here. Most of them remembered me for it. One foolishly brave pup walked up to me and said, "Catch any today, miss?"
I ignored him and gave him the memory of me saying yes, but twisted it with so much fear that he ran off whimpering. I almost laughed. Almost. (Alexandria's open, if anyone wants her.)

Or, maybe it wasn't quite a crowd at all, since most pets were avoiding it at all costs, save for a few unintelligent adventurers. He looked around, and seeing the runaway cat, he watched as she scampered off. She seemed to have grown since he last bothered to look at... Brook was what she told Death? "At the end of the day, we usually have nothing to do, as we do not have a tight schedule," he said to Enchanter. "And what do you plan on doing today?"
