I drew a character that I really quite like, but after my first design (
A - found here) received mostly neutral/negative comments, I wanted to try some other designs. So I came up with
option B which I mostly just picked a palette and did a simple design based on what I thought would make interesting offspring with his mate. And also there's
option C which is more playful and my style, but I'm really not sure if the colors fit the lineart very well, since they look too cutesie maybe?
(LOL I'm a huuuuge sucker for more simple designs, if you can't tell XD)
Anyway I'd really love some opinions. Or, if you don't like any of them, maybe a palette that you think would look good? It's supposed to be a shark dog, but the dog is a mastiff breed.
I KNOW that it's my character, but I DO care what other people think of it, since an unpopular design means fewer people want to RP, do art, etc. That may seem silly to you, but if I didn't care what other people thought of my characters I'd just keep them to myself and never post them (which I do with many of my characters), so please don't give me any negative comments about the way I do things. I feel like every time I post something like this here people are like "Oh do what you want! It's your character!" but if I had my mind made up on what I wanted, I wouldn't be asking, y'know?((also, does anyone sell characters (or do character art) for FR currency or dragons? I'm trying to leave that site ^^))
